We never found any tabs that were specifically in standard tuning and arranged for two guitars. We just look at the ones on the internet, learn them in standard, and play the guitar parts that sound the best with each other. That's really about it.

You got it! Just play the fret numbers as if you were in their tuning. It'll just sound higher tuned. That's all. Thanks for being a fan! Yeah. We could do it on electric. But Eric and I have the whole acoustic theme going for our YouTube vids. Believe it or not, we are big electric players and do all our songs on electrics as well.

Actually, those are the tabs we use too. In Flames is mostly in C standard. So, you just play the same frets it shows on the tab. That's it. It just is in a higher key. That's all.

Absolutely, sir! That black guitar is a Kramer Ferrington. Look 'em up on eBay. There are usually a few kicking around on there. Oh, and it is MUCH better than any Telecoustic, Stratocoustic, or other skinny acoustic/electric guitar I've ever played.

E standard? i know inflames plays in drop A

Well, In Flames tunes to C standard for this song, which is 2 whole steps down from standard. On the new stuff, and even older stuff like the song Colony, they drop the low C string to Bb. I don't think they've ever used drop A, but they certainly employ the drop Bb tuning quite oft. We just took this song, which is normally in C standard, and played it in standard tuning. Its not that hard to do. Just play the same frets as if you were in C standard.

Seriously bro... a random search I did for anything acoustic on youtube brought me to your acoustic medely cover and changed my life from there. I then had to discover In Flames and medolic death metal in general. I was listening to Empyrium and Green Carnation's Acoustic albums until now. This whole process has undoubtedly changed the way I compose and the way I play. In Flames has become one of my favorite bands. I still hate the growling though. that one is nice too. i play in flames by putting capo on 1st fret, and then it sounds like in C tuning. And I don't feel the lack of one bass string ;)
