@nmontalva We need an intellectual revolution about what the government should be able to do. The state is not all-powerful. It should not control its people. Its people should control it. This is what libertarianism is all about, and I think we need to have some sort of push back against the TSA, NSA, DHS, etc. in the US. You're so right, and it's so sad.
Don't forget there has to be a balance, I am not for total control but when these devices could be applied carefully it would benefit humans. They should respect your privacy at home but ID cards should contain biometry data + some basic health record (blood type, alergies, etc..) if an accident happens and there should be a camera watching most crowded areas.
