Got exactly same noise. I keep hearing that it maybe the alternator pulley. Gonna look at mine on the weekend. They have a clutch in the pulley and if they seize apparantly does make it sound like a bad engine knock. I'll keep you posted!

My car is making the same sound, I been troubleshooting it but no luck. When you figure it out can you let me know man, I'd much appreciate it.

@Treoxcity I just got my timing belt, tensioners, pullys, and waterpump done. And that was the problem, no more sound. Shits perfect now
