  • did u have a spring to return the brake pedal?

  • how did u fill and bleed the brake fluid system? thnx

  • did u have a spring to return the brake pedal or not. Thnx

  • where did u get the brakes? r they hydraulic?

  • where can i get one of those bakes

  • how do you attach the wheels to the motor or the engine?

  • For many of the questions it is going to be easier fo you to look back because I will have surely answered the same questions before. The engine has a centrifugal clutch fixed to the crankshaft. The drum has a 219 pitch gear on it. It uses a live axle so when you attatch a chain around the clutch on the engine and the sprocket on the axle the engine will drive both wheels. The axle sprocket it attached via 6 mm key steel as there are keyway slots in both the axle and the sprocket carrier.

  • cool vids , just need a little narrating , i guess you get more comments your way though. maybe i should try that on my videos. keep up the good work

  • nice!

  • I need a new rear end on my gocart i need his exact setup

  • Hey,

What hardware/components did you use to secure the steering shaft to the frame?? Looks almost like bearings.

    Thanks

  • Refer to comment on part 4, Thanks.

  • Hey its me again i was wondering what did you use to link brake pedal to master cylinder, looks like some sort of tie rod...Thx 5*

  • It is. It is actually a steering rod off a mobility scooter. You have to be a bit inventive with projects like this.

  • That is one clean kart. Good craftsmanship.

  • Thanks

  • hey, where do you live?

  • hey could you tell me where you got those wheels from and maybe the price, thanks.

  • Hi, wheels were from mfg supply dot com and they were about £80 in total. You have to buy the wheels and tyres seperatly. However I now have normal kart tyres on and they are easier to deal with and replace.

  • looks better in silver then blak

  • hey man the kart looks really nice i just was wandering were you got the seat from? let me know if you get a chance

  • Ebay. I have a spare. Only want £15 for it. John.

  • how much did u pay for urs ?

  • £119 ready to go straight onto the kart. Thet even had oil ready in them. Got them from zoomkarts and thay are brilliant.

  • where did u get the brakes im looking for a pair if any one has some ill buy them or a web site i can get some at thanks

  • Check zoomkarts dot com, ebay, spellfame dot com etc. You can get a setup pretty cheap.

  • what is the name of that Gold thing on the rear wheels that looks like a disc? Does a chain attatch to it to connect with the engine? how do you determine it will fit with the engine, being that the chair is close to it, Thanx in advance!

  • That is called the sprocket holder. A sprocket bolts onto that and a chain goes over the sprocket and clutch.

  • what is the clutch for? can u give me a breif quick sumnmary about a clutch? please

  • The clutch is on so the engine can drive the kart. A centrifugal clutch goes on my kart. It bolts on to the end of the engine crankshaft.

Check out my other video- gokart- part 6

Also check out zoomkarts to get a good look at everything.

    Hope this helps, John.

but good as the first 1 u had

  • did you just put this on (jack)

  • Yes

  • give me a ring wen u get this. i got home today (ben)
