@WHILIO That big white box that the amp is sitting on is my big power supply. Its 13.8 Volts and can draw up to 100Amps so technically its a 1400 watt PSU.

@pemberfilm All my neighbors now are my friends but freshman year, I had 2 8's and the entire building got mad at me because it was too loud. I did turn up these 10's and they were so much louder than my 8's. I rattled everything and knocked over a lot of things off the shelves.

what did you use for a power supply? if i can handle all that it must be pretty beefy.

yea its a beefy power supply. Its a Audio Authority and can handle a amp that does about 1380 watts rms.

I got my alpines in my car. I dont want 12's in my room cause then my bed will be raised too high. I have to keep a low profile at my dorm or they take my shit.

hey could you maybe send me a link to show me what psu u got to run it? i'm making my own towers. they are gonna have a 4x6 3 way speaker, 6.5 3 way speaker and in a seperate chamber in the same tower an 8" either kicker cvr or l7. gonna power them with a kicker kx800.4 amp but idk how to really do it yet. any help would be appreciated

hey man, my friend just tried to hook up 2 w7's to an alpine pdx1.1000 just like you. but when he turns it stops (andd the right side of the amp under the front place turns red) Any ideas of how to hook both up without it failing?

@dev123777 he aint giving it enough power. If he is hooking it up to a power supply like me he needs a power supply that has atleast a 80amp load which means he needs a power supply that is atleast 900 watts to run the system. The red light means multiple things but the reason why he is getting it is because lack of power....Or it can be wired to 1.5 ohms which is running too low independence. Lowest the amp can go is 2 ohms. Wire the subs str8 to the amp with the 2 plug ins so it can run 3 ohms

I don't think a pic will help. Go on youtube and just search amplifier installation power supply and you should find some help full info. Honestly it is really easy but in order to do it you need a pretty big power supply. Once you have the power supply, get the pos (+yellow) and neg(-black) wires and put them in the (+) and (-) inputs for the amplifier. To make the amp turn on with power supply, you need to run a wire from the Remote to the (+). After that, just plug in some RCA's to 3.5 MM
