  • These colors are all correct. In Spanish there are regional differences. Colors are often spectrums - purple/maroon/violet run into each other. In English we accord purple and violet in not quite the same way as other languages do. Colors in this presentation reflect their associated names as given in Spanish.

  • COLOR -> TONO

    naranja -> anaranjado

    azul -> azulado

    verde -> verdoso

    rojo -> rojizo

    púrpura -> purpúreo

    etc.

  • @everyonegodie well you can also say naranja, anaranjado is the same.

    and yes purpura you can also say: lila or purpura is the same

    and cafe wich is brown also means coffee or you can say marron or cafe is the same.

  • Naranja is an orange, as in the fruit while anaranjado is the color, i believe. Brown may be café, depending on the region. I also learned purple as morado but perhaps that is also a regional difference.
