Daron was my idol, he was one of the reasons I started playing guitar. The best band was SOAD, but then Serj did his own solo thing. And they were supposed to get back together the following year. But Daron started Scars on Broadway and when Serj went back to talk to him about getting back together Daron said "no, I'm doing too well to quit the band I'm in now". I saw this in an interview

I agree with almost everything you said except the part about being a great guitarist, it's not opinion, I meant being a genuinly great guitarist, weither or not you think someone is great doesn't matter just because you dont like the sound of what they play doesn't mean a thing, like Joe Satriani, weither you like his solos or not there is no way to deny that he is one of the best, so yes technically a few great solos and riffs do make you a great guitarist, but other than that well played sir.
