Also a good way to get ur skin off a flattie without filletting it, is freeze the flatty till all the outside is frozen, then rub the skin under some tap water and it should come straight off, cheers

@JoeTheAngler1994 to be pefectly honest i had no idea there were fresh water flatheads but this is a salt water flathead theres 9 different types but this is a dusky or mud flat

i caught a 38cm one last week and threw it back cos legal size in QLD is 40cm victoria is obviesly shit for fishing if the legal size is 25cm
