  • In syd duskys have to be over 38 from my understanding, bluedots 26cm

  • the legal limit is 30cm

  • throw it back. wouldnt even be a mc fillet of fish

  • i caught a 38cm one last week and threw it back cos legal size in QLD is 40cm victoria is obviesly shit for fishing if the legal size is 25cm

  • why skin a flathead? It's not like it tastes any worse with it on.

  • whats the point of keeping a baby like that, let them go mate at eat them in the 40- 45 cm range realease all others

  • Instead of cutting the skin off pull the skin off the fillet and the bones come out with it

  • even my granddaughter throws small flathead like this back Mate your a yobbo

  • they have to be 40cm in qld

  • amazing that so many people don't understand that size limits are vary per state.

Pretty good way to fillet a flathead.

  • @mrsbirch01 yeah gotta agree with ya bud, dont think many people get that the size limit over in WA would be different to NSW then again Different with Victoria ! lol...oh well nice flatty mate, well done with the filletting ! I do it differently but yeah will be using this technique looks faster. Also a good way to get ur skin off a flattie without filletting it, is freeze the flatty till all the outside is frozen, then rub the skin under some tap water and it should come straight off, cheers

  • looks tiney man

  • I need to get on here and show you how to clean these properly no bones no skin in under 30 secs keep tuned

  • @zipping12

Do it. I'd like to see another more efficient way.

  • victorian flat head can be that size

  • you suck dude

  • you dont have to go through the fin dude it much easier going through the belly you get much more recovery that way and a cleaner fillet... also to take the bones out u do a v cut on the ribs and it simple comes out ill post some videos to show the public how to fillet properly.

  • in QLD they have to be 40cm

  • Better off leaving the scales on if your going to skin them like that, no point taking the scales off unless your leaving the skin on.
