I stayed extremely true to the original (except for the harmony a couple places), so in order to make it unique I used some.. perhaps unusual instruments. I hope the "You're safe"-feeling is still intact, though ;)

I made the move from Windows Moviemaker to OpenShot recently, so now I don't have to use Windows at all :D

@tobinus Have you tried to compose directly on Ubuntu, using your piano-keyboard, or a mouse? I use a program named Frinika.

@ArkBlitz I have tried with my keyboard, but I haven't had any luck. The CPU goes to 100% in Rosegarden at least, and it's generally very unstable.

And for a computer keyboard and mouse; no, I haven't tried.
