Wonderland Baby. The story of the 1981 killings of several drug thugs from other drug thugs. It's a slice of a pie of crime not reported on the news. Look beyond the Shootings in South Central LA and think of the bigger piece of the pie of crime that's screwing this country and the world up. White Collar Crime and Organized Crime to name a few. Include about half a pie of Washington DC to. Thank you Wonderland for releasing this movie as well as this song. Later.
@az817 yup yup yup....... I was watching Wonderland and I just love this song every time I hear it on that movie so I decided to look it up. I wanna buy the soundtrack to wonderland that movie has like a great song playing every 3 minutes...that has to be one of the best soundtracks I've ever encountered... I must have it... I also love the song that plays on the opening credits "johnny was a schoolboy when he heard his first beetles song, love me do I think it was. great song & movie
@JonathanRobert78 I agree but hey the Doobie Brothers are fucking great.... dont be hating on them... hate on some of the shitty so called "rock bands" of today to try and find good rock from this era is impossible.theres a lot of awesome music right now but not any good rock happening right now... a lot of awesome club dance music. and some good hip hop here and there.... but as far as rock in this era goes it sucks. if you want good rock you gotta go vintage
Not a lot of people give this man his due credit - If it weren't for Terry turning down lead singership of Led Zeppelin or Deep Purple they wouldn't be the great rock bands as we know them today! Thank You Terry for deciding to stay going solo and just being you! Your music is incredible!
this is amazing. i remember listening to his first american release with mayfly and speak now among others, but didn't know about this release. discovering something this outstanding nearly 40 years later is like finding a long lost friend. thankfully Mr. Reid is still alive and well with many killer live performances of recent vintage on yt. it makes growing old seem not so bad.
@TheHeliumkid Me too!!! My sister found mine at a flea market for eight bucks and gave it to me for christmas. Perfect through and through, no doubt.
First found out about TR from the soundtrack to 'Wonderland' with Val Kilmer. Awesome movie, awesome song. Very poingnant to the plot of the movie when it was played.
It's baffling to know that Terry Reid isn't among the upper echelon of great artists of his generation. He was an amazing Singer, Guitarist, and Songwriter, really sad thing is most people have never heard of him.
@JoeGeetar That he is; so good that Jimmy Page asked him to sing for Led Zeppelin. Terry wanted to be a singer-songwriter instead so he told him about his friend Robert Plant.
pure great music god why dosent anyone really no who who terry is hes fuckin awesome much better then neil young i rank him in the same category as tom petty both two icons whos never get the respect they deserve
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@summerbreez33 how in the world can you categorize terry reid in with tom petty when petty has not even half of terry's talent? but i do agree about terry reid being under-credited for his work..i would rank petty in with neil young because they're both good on the guitar BUT can't sing worth a lick...im sorry im not trying to distort your opinion but i had to say something because i feel that it's mixing gold with dog shit..not a good mix
I never heard of Terry Reid before....
