worried about half of those. I'll eat something with trans fat if I was hungry, but aspartame and MSG are so bad for you, I'm going to avoid it as much as possible.
Additives are hugely misunderstood. I'll explain :They're all approved and as long as you eat a healthy diet (e.g. Canada's food guide) none of these additives should matter. There is no conclusive evidence saying preservatives are "bad" - unless you eat them in excessive amounts, which would mean you are likely eating too many "unhealthy" foods anyway. Remember: the only ingredient in a banana for example, is a banana.
@23ChelseyRobb I'm sure you were telling everyone that hydrogenated oil was good for the health before knowing about the trans fat. Don't rely on the industry to tell you what is good for you ... remember in the 50's the doctors were telling people that cigarette was really good for the health .... do your homework and think by yourself .... cheers :)
go vegan then u can avoid most of it espec. if going mostly raw vegan :) or at least it mostly only fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds and grains and legumes, herbs, mushrooms
The medical profession is a giant con. The FDA and government put so much food additives, and sodium as food additives/preservatives in processed food, that they WANT people to get sick, which supports the 100 billion a year pharmaceudical business. The government is a giant facist con who is trying to kill us all
..I guess that my toxicology classes at university were really good, because we have been warned in them to be careful when we read about any of the food addtives that you have mentioned here and many more.
While I appreciate this video, your explanations for why these substances are harmful is incomplete. You focus on the cancer-causing effects, but there are many more reasons why these chemicals are bad (the neurotoxic effects, for example.)
Aluminum (anything "...aluminum..." like Sodium Aluminum Phosphate) should be on the list. It is wicked evil and is as bad if not worse than aspartame.
@ckeroable: Yeah I know.... that is why people should drink distilled water. If they're worried about not getting enough trace minerals then they should just add a trace mineral supplement. They're not expensive.
@ckeroable: Yeah I know...that's why people should drink distilled water. If they're worried about not getting enough trace minerals normally found in tap water or some bottled water then they can add a trace mineral supplement to their water. It's not expensive. But as drumlord420 states, how do we avoid breathing it in the air. Chemtrails are poisoning the air with aluminum too. Ever noticed the moon and stars seem brighter than years past? The aluminum particles in air reflect light brighter.
@luscious9lips Chemtrails arent a problem to me, theres a specific hydro carbon that blocks the passing of anything made with more then 9 electrons, or 9 anti protons
Aspartame is fine. The research says it is safe up until a certain dose. The "dose", which is approx. 40 250ml diet pops a day, would likely never be researched. However, if someone drank that much pop (diet or regular) in one day, aspartame is the least of their problems! Recommendation: Follow Canada's food guide. If a food will not fit into a food group, it is unhealthy and should only be used in MODERATION.
@23ChelseyRobb: You are a liar. Take your MISINFORMATION somewhere else. Many studies suggest regular consumption of aspartame causes a plethora of problems - tumors, anxiety, headaches etc etc. You must work for an aspartame manufacturing public relations company or something; or you are a zionist encouraging people to keep eating poisons so they remain dumbed down and distracted... so people cannot see that zionists control the media and central banks and are ruining this country and culture.
@GreedX23: Absolutely avoid anything cooked in aluminum foil. Aluminum is absorbed into the food from the heat. Avoid any food wrapped in aluminum foil and avoid drinks contained in aluminum, too.
I know but I read this one time that they heat oils to rly high temp b4 they evn put them in the containers so its like we're already eating trans fats wenevr we eat foods with oil. But I found that vry hard to believe.
Well that's y we use our own judgement on things. We dont just believe anything that's in here.
not all oils, just look for the ones that are 100% pure oil. I went through a stage of spending a long time in the supermarket checking the ingredients on the food I was buying. Once you realise that there are always alternatives you learn what to avoid and it gets easier but you'll also become aware of the vast scale of the problem. Food (?!) companies make HUGE profit from adding all of this crap. Think NATURE and how it already provides everything we need, 'natural food' books are a big help
Thanks, I've been paying a lot more attention to what I eat now. Not going to really go to McD's any more & if I do it'll most likely be a parfait I'm getting
As an added note, table salt (or sea salt, rock salt, etc.) are considered foreign to our bodies, so adding any to your food would not be considered wise.
If you want more sodium chloride in your diet, have celery or tomatoes as they have natural forms of sodium chloride that won't interfere with your bodies normal functions.
but salt adds flavor to our foods. We can't just delete it alltogether in our diet! So if u wanted scrambled eggs u wont put salt in it and wen u it eat ull b eating blah and prob b gting something else to eat. So we kinda NEED SALT!!!!!!!!!
Actually, if you need salt to taste food, you've been putting too much salt on it to begin with.
Try going without ANY added salt (including foods with added salts) and in a month you will notice that all foods will taste better - you will love the taste of food without salt.

So true and high fructose corn syrup is in just about everything, which in my opinion, is responsible for our obesity/diabetes epidemic.
