Schurmacher wasn't better. Schurmacher lost titles for relative low level drivers such as J.Villeneuve (97) and Mika Hakkinen (98-99) with a Ferrari.

Senna disputed titles and races with great names of F1 such as Prost, Mansell, Hill, Piquet and...Schumarcher. For that reason Schumarcher is not the best of F1 history .

Senna here has more wing than Schumacher, that´s why he is not able to match the speed in straight line with Schumacher.

Nevertheless, Senna had better traction controls than Beneton, and TAG regulation, better than Beneton´s one.

But Schumacher was faster than Senna, faster than Senna in England, Germany, Hungary, Spa, Monza and Portugal. With the same engine.

Senna could not get more points than Schumi being a child with the same engine than him in 1993.

The reason is Schumacher was better.

Mclaren at the end got here the same engine specification than Beneton.

this is something that many Senna´s fans have tried to conceal.

They have tried to conceal this information, but Senna had the same engine as Schumacher since this race. Even Senna said after this race: "At the end, the new engine is not as good as they told it was".

And Schumacher, amused, told the reporters referring to Senna´s February complaints: "I don´t see they (Mclaren) have changed much".

the three best senna, schumacher and prost. Sennas lines so graceful so natural on the road while schumacher charging into the corners with the pointy style..reason he can't produce nowadays is the cars are too heavy and the lack of traction from the tires is killing his style..

Just to refresh the memory, in 1993 McLaren was equipped with FORD HB engine, 80 HP weaker than FORD Zetec of Benetton. Senna said that in Montreal he was outperformed in a training session by Patrese by almost a car in the pit line when both could confront their engines

@reinaldomzk That is just bullshit. The McLaren and the Benetton had exactly the same specification pneumatic valve Ford HBs at this stage of the season. The Zetec wasn't raced until 1994.

@juusokoskin Actually, the announcers are wrong. McLaren *announced* at this race that they would be given the same Series 7 Ford HB engines that Benetton used...but it was not until the German GP that they actually had those engines in their cars..

Even so, the difference in hp between the Series 7 and Series 5 engines was certainly *not* 80 hp...it was closer to 20 hp.

Schumacher, like every young driver, was a little bit too aggressive and eager to pass. Senna was a masterful defensive driver. To pass Senna, he had to be absolutely right on. At 4:23, He got it right. Michael Schumacher was still learning to be great.
