I have an 8 year old whose mom and i are going through issues but are still together for his sake for the last 5 years. and if she and i did break up, which is likely, i will never ever ever abandon him. shame on your dad for leaving his kids. he needs to make it up to you for the rest of your life and make you feel loved. because you deserve it. hope your move to LA turned out okay and that you are ok. best, Rick

You have a gifted voice and you are a true artist...who can write songs and paint as well so that will take you far ahead. But as a suggestion i still would like to say that u can improve on singing as its a world of competetion....people say nobody is perfect. Well try to prove them wrong!!

I realized listening to your blogs that writing songs is sort of how the story writing process is for me. We sort of start it and put it down, we 'try to write' songs/stories, but it just doesn't happen until later when you're thinking about something completely different and boom, there it is. I think that is sometimes the best part of writing or composing something. At least this has been my experience. As usual, I liked this song.

The song is beautiful! Though I totally relate to the part of your story about finishing a song at the right now. I've had songs that I write and just doesn't feel right. Then one day something draws you back to it and it turns out perfect. For me it's usually the time of the year that draws me back to certain songs. I usually date my songs. i never new my biological father either, but i have to say that the person i call my father is the only father ill ever have, he was there to teach me all i know in life and also gave me the hard shove into finding who i am and what i have to do to be happy.

i never new my biological father either, but i have to say that the person i call my father is the only father ill ever have, he was there to teach me all i know in life and also gave me the hard shove into finding who i am and what i have to do to be happy.
i also like this song a lot i heard it already but to know the story behind it make it much more touching and relative to me.

I myself like to write music to my emotions to help me through things.
You have a beautiful voice and you are some what of an inspiration to me and probably alot of people. You are doing great, keep at your dream. And as for your father, he has done some things im sure you wish he hadnt done and you should be mad and confused but, he might have something to offer after all these years, give him a chance, but let him know if that chance grows.. that its his last. hey kim your music is super! brilliant voice,with regards to your personal situation you have had alot of disruption in your early part life,and its hard to move on with your biological father trying to stay in touch, but maybe if you accept the fact he is still around ,embrace it and then move on yourself!!!He is the one that has lost out on your lovely personality beautiful talent!

Very Emotional Song, But they say "If It Doesn't Kill U, It Will Only Make U Stronger" I Think you are a stronger person for going through it and it shows in the writing of that song.
But don't move to L.A., Too many phonies there. NYC is the place to be, tons of places to play live at. (plus i can get to meet you and see you live)

Kim just know that by not keeping up with his girls, it is his loss. You can never have too many loved ones in your life. Sorry your life sounds so much like a Soap Opera, but you where correct is saying that we all have our own Soap Opera as well. That is as close to singing the blues I've ever heard you do.
