how do you know is a puppy store is selling puppy mills ? to be honest i don even get what a puppy mills is ?? in from sweden and here there are no Puppy stores , u can only adopt here

To answer your question, let me put it to you this way. A GOOD breeder, the one who really cares about their dogs and puppies, who chooses the best parents for health and temperament will NOT sell their puppies to anyone who just walks in off the street. They want to know who the owner is, and if they're compatible with that dog breed. Think they're going to sell to a pet store whose only criteria is a valid credit card?

well actually i dont know where you live but here in LA you get a 1 year warranty from a petstore, and what kind of person would give back their animal? what are you preaching? shelters do take in strays but do they warn you of the health complications the animal has? NO! atleast petstores do! they told my cousin the dog had kennel cough! it seems to me your the ignorant. Im not BASHING on shelters and i dont support pet stores, i just think ppl should be smart about where they get their animals

yeah shelters and petstores shouldnt be trusted!!!!! at least pet stores warranty your dogs health but stupid shelters (personel experience) give you pet that is so sick and they make you sign papers saying they assume no resposibility over the animals health after its been taken out of the shelter!! so find a registered reputable breeder, so what if you spend 300 or 400 because if you end up choosing pet stores or shelters ull end up spending double if not triple!!

Before you bash all shelters, do your homework. We have 2 here and not only do they guarantee health, they will ALWAYS take the pet back, If not for shelters..WHO do you think takes in strays and older animals? Do breeders do that? NO! What ignorant comments to make! And years ago I got a kitten with a "48 hour" guarantee from a pet store..so much for your comment they give health warranties. You have no idea what your talking about , shelters are the place you SHOULD adopt from.
