i know i'm super late, but since you're asexual does that mean you don't desire any physical intimacy (kissing, cuddling, etc) or just sex? if you don't desire physical intimacy, then what's the difference between a close friendship and a romantic relationship? IMO friends can be really close and share many experiences with each other just as a romantic couple would, but without the physical intimacy (except light stuff like hugging).

I'm enjoying these videos. :) I can relate to a lot of what you discussed in this video, too. I seem pretty aromantic but do catch myself occasionally thinking I want to meet "someone special." It's hard to tell whether I'd actually enjoy that kind of relationship, or if I'm just making up a fantasy "grass is greener on the other side" way of looking at certain aspects of my life, though (if that makes any sense).

I classify myself as demi-romantic, or demi-biromantic specifically. I have a bit of a drive but it's not a big thing and mostly in an abstract way. If something happens, it does. And that'd be awesome. But if not then okay that's good too.

The idea of a romance drive is interesting, and there should be some truth in it. Some people are just naturally more romantic and can think up romantic things where other people have to try harder.
