  • you guys can buy winter coat, winter jacket on viigoo.com

  • Anybody else but me realize se said guying bide?

  • Lol once the weather drops below 60.... Honey, all I can say is don't move to Minnesota anytime soon :)

  • I live above the polar circle. That would not work for me. At all.

Looks lovely on you though :)

  • What color is on your nails?

  • an FYI, (for those of you who want your coat to slim you down) coats that hit at your waist/above the thigh make your thighs look bigger. The perfect length for girls trying to hide their thighs is the length of her coat in the video. It gives you more of an hourglass figure. So the bomber peacoat wont work if you are trying to hide thighs as a problem area.

  • Love when you say Guying Bide hahaha

  • idk i have a coat like that and im pregnant and my coat is a size small. i really love how you explained how to wear it and what might look right. i was wondering if it would still matter during my pregnancy anyways? i wouldnt wanna waste money either. LOL, love your vids.<3

  • In Canada, that is not a coat.

  • lol. did anyone catch the "guying bide"?? haha. i do that all the time! ;]

  • iLoveeeYour Coat where did you get it?

  • Good for a 40F winter. Too bad winter in Chicago gets to -30F!

  • OMG I love you! Haha i had just called Nordstrom today to see about their wool peacoats..not enough info though.

I'm SO ready to buy one :)

  • do yhu noe any good stores i can buy nice bombers or peacots from.?

  • hahahahaha guying bide lol

  • us Canadians would definitely freeze to death wearing that. :P

  • HA, I'm Canadian, I'd freeze wearing those ;)

but your lucky you can, very pretty (:

  • how do you know what color coat is for your skin color??

  • im from canada. trust me. that isnt a coat.

  • This video was very helpful. thanks! please check out my channel!

  • your makeup looks amazingggg!

  • julie i need your help, i need to know how to wear leg warmers, i know there are a ton of ways to wear them but how to you wear them with short boots like timberlands, or flats, or heels, or loong boots like uggs or emu's .. help me pleasse <3

  • The coat is lovely but it's mostly for fashion advise not functionality. This wool peacoat would get me by for fall, but come Nov-Feb in Chicago, I would freeze my butt off. It's sometimes -20 here. I like the big puffer jackets that have an attached hood with faux fur. The down insulation & hood will keep you really warm & block out the harsh winds, sleet & snow. I am sure people in Minnesota, Maine, NY & Canada can relate to Chicago weather. You wanna stay warm & don't care about cuteness

  • im from CA and a coat is almost useless, its thanksgiving and 80 degrees!!

  • @browniesryummy123 same here isnt that crazy it always rains this time of year wats wrong with cali

  • COOL

  • Yeahhh... I live in Canada, sooo that would not keep me warm enough. especially when it's like -20.

  • try -10 in the winter haha

  • ahh try southern winter its already been 29 down here

  • that coat is cute, but it's a joke for Northern winter.

  • Im a wimp in the winter too hehe:D!!!

  • you always make me think of rachel from glee.. :) haha love you! x

  • lol, one time i said the loof is reaking instead of the roof is leaking..

  • Hahaha She said guying buide!!!!

  • I am short and curvy with a large bust and I have a terrible time picking out flattering coats. Could you recommend a coat.

  • you should do a tutorial on your eye make up or a fall look instead of just browns ifeel like so many ppl just do a sultry look. i like the look for your eyes. :) just saying

  • I bought almost the same coat that you have a few weeks ago! Great minds!

  • love them all beautiful!!! and nice colors 2!!

  • your gorgeous

  • The sleeves part of this video is very correct, bear in mind that for us smaller girls with short arms, don't freak if the arms are baggy and too long... check the inside of the coat and see if it can be hemmed. If there is a lining right to the edge, it will make it more difficult, though a good coat will have 2-3 inches of space between the edge of the sleeve and the lining so that it can be hemmed.

Same goes for girls with longer arms, sometimes the inside can be lengthened, tho less common!

  • where did you purchase that coat?

  • Love ur lipcolor here!! which one is that? looks lovely.. :)

  • guying bide

    loool

  • what lip color are you wearing? gorgeous.

  • hahahahhahahaa i cant get enough of the 'guying bide'!! so funny!!!!!!!!!! =D

  • 0:04, you looks so badass putting on your coat! haha!

  • Can you post some links where we can buy good jackets

  • Below 60? Try 20 below 0! haha You'd never last!

  • double breasted coats look really nice unbuttoned, but they look weird on me if i close it.

  • I love the color of your coat but I don't like that it's double-breasted.

  • hahhaaha.

she said "coat guying-buide" instead of buying guide :]

  • @wieberem lol

  • I love this vid i remember u did one on shoes can u tell me what color shirt i can wear with mude shoes? Thanks

  • Cold if it goes below 50?!

Hahaha, wow. In the winter we mostly have below 30 everyday :L

  • That was a really nice color of your coat n you look great

  • this video is so on time! i just bought my first forever coat from burlington! so stoked!

  • im from minnesota...fashionable coats dont work for us up here...lol

  • @oliveoyl002 try being in Canada in mid February lol

  • @PeachSiki hahahaa! ill bet!!!

  • @oliveoyl002 lol they don't work in upstate NY either!!! I would call that a early fall jacket! I need to be bundled so I don't die out in the crazy weather.

  • Im only 5'1 and petite size,

so i love the Trench coats!

its notlong, it ends 1 inch below my zipper on my pants.

and the middle belt on the trench coat makes me look slimmer.

    i love itttt

  • Isn't it copyrighted?

  • what would u recommend for Phoenix winter weather ? i feel the wool n leather wuld b too hot... never heard of a bomber or peticoat... Help lol

  • I have a coat that's incredibly similar. Where did you get yours? Mine is from Vero Moda.

  • I SAY THIS EVERY WEEK, BUTTTTTTTTTTTT I REALLY LOVE FASHION FRIDAY :)

  • Omg, THANK YOU! =)

  • the purple coat looks too big on you the sleeves are too long

  • I liked the intro at the beginning :)

  • u remind me of ijustine yr looks do

  • OMG you HAVE to tell us the polish you are wearing!!! It looks like the one from the Sparkle-licious Acid Green video and I'm dying to know what it is!!!

On topic, LOL, another helpful and fantastic video. This coat looks amazing on you--gorgeous color!

  • I love you

  • Love ur video thanks

  • Love the video......what are you wearing on your lips???? so pretty!!!!

  • no matter what coat I get the sleeves are always too long, because I'm not tall.

  • I have the plum colored peacoat and I love it! I love your videos! Please subscribe and watch mine! :) Thanks

  • I love the lip color you have on! And this was a great video because I live in Colorado & we have some VERY COLD winters here!

  • Guying ... Lmao. Cute

  • guying buide 1:10 =) *cute*

  • the makeup here is too pretty! you look stunning in red lips

  • Peacoats never seem to have a fitted feel on me. I always look huge in any peacoat, even if it's my regular size. I love wool coats but they don't suit my figure. Mostly, spring coats that are light suit me. Which is horrible because I don't want to freeze in the winter!

  • I love your informative videos, they're always so...informative! LOL, but seriously, thanks. And that coat is just all around flattering on you. Cut, style, color etc. Love the scarf color paired with the plum.

  • @Sammy070 Thank you for realizing you were wrong. Hopefully you apologized to the girl :)

  • @Sammy070 Actually hun, there was no argument intended to start when I commented you. Only letting you know that you didn't have to bash her in a comment you wrote. Now I'm letting you know you don't have to defend yourself over your bad observing skills.

  • this was a huuuge help! Thank you! you have awesome eyebrows lol... stay warm!!

  • THANK YOU!!!! =D

  • all the coats you showed are appropriate for Fall in Canada ;)

  • how do u fold the scarf like that ?

  • @mrsecperalta86 she has a video where she talks about how to wear the scarfs too, its a bit old and explains many styles including that one its called "fashion friday how to wear a scarf" so just search that here on youtube and you'll see her video explaining it

  • @mrsecperalta86 there´s a video about how to wear scarfs maybe u should check it (:

  • Freezing in +16?? Last winter we had -25 :D THAT was freeeeezing :D

  • I love your coat. Where did u buy it??

  • How would a white coat similar to that one look with fair skin and dark hair?

  • @MadisonTeeheexX Very pretty :D

  • the 2 colours don't really match, but still nice style!

  • i missed fashion fridays!

  • love the whole outfit! and dont forget thumbs up for colors in winter *.*

  • guying bide xD!

  • in cali it hasnt been gettin very cold WATS GOING ONNNN

  • @mahwishyazdani What?! It's freezing up in NorCal.

  • This video makes me want to go shopping SO BAD! =)

  • Coat Gying Bide FOR THE WIN! Haha love your videos

  • where i live... you have to go out and buy 200-300 dollar parkas .... it get minus 40.

  • seriously, 60 degrees is cold 4 u? try living in Minnesota, below zero degrees is normal during the winter!

  • @catgodess71 same here... haha, i live in wisconsin. i laugh at southerners who think it's cold when it's 60.... that's tshirt and shorts weather!

  • @VampireFrancesca I'm in Chicago. 60 degrees is warm! I am still wearing t-shirts, flip flops an no coat. Even in 40-50, I might just wear a turtleneck sweater and no coat. I don't start wearing a real winter coat till it's a least 35 or below.

  • um some tips for buying coats

    1. try them on with layers under it, make sure to wear things you would normally wear with a thick coat so like with a sweater or something

    2. double-breasted coats (2 rows of buttons, style of julie's jacket) will make you look wider, so if that's an issue i wouldn't recommend that style.

  • In New York winter is just normal mostly in the 3Os or 4Os but you can still wear that

  • Great tip regarding arm length! I am tall and have long arms...coats never fit me correctly in the arm length!! :(

  • These coats can't keep me warm in the Wisconsin winters :(

  • i live in italy and this kind of coats are perfect!!!! and this video is really helpful!!!!!

  • You look really pretty in this video. Can u make a makeup tutorial of this look? It's lovely!

  • Please do a make up tutorial for this look!! I absolutely love it!!

  • guying bide?! LMAO.

  • OMG you guys are so lucky that you get to wear that all winter long. I live in Iceland but currently schooling in Denmark and it's friggin cold, I just bought a coat a week ago but I still am cold even.. So I am still on the hunt for another coat^^

+ the love of my life - SCARVES!!<3<3<3

  • you dunno the meaning of low ;P

  • cool!

  • i wouldve definetly felt hot in that jacket in my house. I don't know how you did it.

  • julie where did you get that coat?

  • "guying bide" lol ur so cute ....I twist words all the time lol or I might say something like "my car is in my shoes" lol (my shoes are in my car" lol

love the vid ... great tips

  • i have a purple coat similar looking to yours!!! =D

  • Girl u said guying bide :-D it made me laugh lol

I love ur videos they really help

  • I love your videos but have two problems: 1) I'm 5'11" so short sleeves is something you learn to deal with. 2) I love your coat and it would have been great when I lived in the south and the LOW was 50˚F. I now live in PA and this is just not practical for places where the winter lasts 7 months out of the year and the HIGH is around 5-10˚F.

Could you do a video on cute coats for people who have colder winters? I haven't found any that are both cute AND warm enough for the below zero temps :(

  • Haha :D I feel like living in real North now... I mean it's -20 degrees Celsius in Lithuania during winter and we can take it like nothing still looking cute in our knitted woolen caps, gloves and huge scarfs. I bet all the Scandinavians know what I'm talking about :D

  • @Lewitra thsi in winter at your place.... wow lucky; here in canada its go -40 degree celcius! ....

  • @rabia846 Wow, now that's cold. If the temp falls that much, we are allowed not to go to university/schools or even jobs :D

  • @Lewitra yea u r right... west side is not that cold (vancouver), but the est and north they r cold area

  • @rabia846 depends where in canada ;)

  • 60 degrees?! That's like summer in sweden...

  • @thisisjessicablogg eller hur!

  • u would fit in ky there are a ton of ppl that wear these big parkas in 70 degrees! and i am sweating my ass off just by looking at them

  • 60 degrees Fahrenheit?! That's about 15.5 degrees Celsius! In Scotland, you might get about 6 days a year above that!

  • i'd love you have you as my big sister! you have the best tips :]

  • you are picture perfetct in this video and i love all those colours togheter

  • pea coats (Y)

  • i wish Singapore comes with this .. hmm.. nO winter here:(

  • anything below 70 is WAY too cold for me lol

  • @taniathepirate sounds like you're in the south XD

  • @dark1alucard yeah from TX... hate cold weather lol *shiver*

  • "Guying Buide" cute and funny...lol

  • That make up really suits you!

  • Can you do a tutorial on this look?? I love it! also your nail color is amazing, what is it?

  • Wow your skin looks sooo good in this video Julie! What is your secret? What moisturizer/makeup do you use? I love your videos, they're always very helpful. Thanks! =D

  • Wow this helped! Thanks Julie ;)

  • So annoying to live in sweden.. its to cold to wear anything like that, Big snowman jacket is the shit! but ugly as hell "/

  • @sjuttioelva same problem here in iceland :/

  • @IcelandicGirl1994 @TiimBurton Yeah it sucks!

  • @sjuttioelva The North Face & Canada Goose (Y)

  • @666666gena666666 Canada Goose is so warm and fuzzy, BUT its taken over by all the Fjortis (like slutty wannabee version of scenkids)

  • @sjuttioelva Ohh, here it is only the cool people who wears it, because it cost like 4500 danske krone / 5000 svenske kroner. (1000 dollars)

  • @sjuttioelva i live in icaland!! its wayy colder xD

  • @sjuttioelva I know what you mean I live in wisconsin and people wear jackets like tht but I have no idea how i'd freeze! I got a big snowman coat that goes down to my calves. ><

  • @fallenangelforever i know right! im bad at US geography but im guessing we have the same kind of weather. Like now you can wear coats like that (not me though lol) but at winter we get like -20 C (-4F) and like even a canada goose is cold!! we get like alot of old winds, and the hair in sweden tends to get dry, so it gets even colder! I swear to god, last winter my eyelashes had frost on them, and i dont even wear mascara

  • @sjuttioelva euhm.. COLD* and AIR* not old and hair lmao

  • @sjuttioelva I live in Chicago and we get the frozen eyelashes and even inside your nose. I know that is gross but it's true. Then when you walk inside, your mascara runs because of the thaw from your lashes. We sometimes gets -30F here. They say it's called "lake effects"...that's why it's so cold and windy.

  • @sjuttioelva I live in the middle east and it's soooo hot!! I WISH it was as cold as sweden! switch weathers? ; )

  • @noa1994 Yes please!!!!!!!

  • @sjuttioelva Yeah, i know... I live in Finland... :/

  • @janitajasmin Soo cold.. "/

  • @sjuttioelva haha bor också i sverige :)

  • Really great tips and I love your nail polish but wow can you really wear that coat all winter? It goes to -20 here...(celcius) which is -2 F..and I honestly need a down coat, no exceptions. Finding a stylish down coat however, is much more difficult I find. I think for me a guide on that would be more down my alley. A coat like the one you're wearing is really an early-mid fall coat for Canada, hehe.

  • Great "guying bide"! ;) lol (I LOVE the plum!)
