What a complete and utter monopoly but the people of Brazil are loving it even though they are being used. No wonder the Ford mechanics in the USA are leaving the business here. Ford is also charging it's own mechanics money to use it's tools (VCM is $425 every year just to use it). I have seen unions target and fire a responsible supervisor in a city municipality. The supervisor shut down a seasonal operation over the winter. You can't crush gravel outside in Canadian winter! The most advance car factory is located in Japan where robots does all the work, at one end are raw materials and at the other end are finnished cars. FANUC robot assembly systems is one robotic companies used in the construction of the 100% fully robotized car factory. Vertically integrated manufacturing is common in Japan which the UAW is opposed, and even opposed to full automation/robotization. What the UAW does not know this factory creates highly technical skilled jobs w/c they opposes.
