I had that game also and that is pretty hard to do. The memory of my playstation 1 was not a big thing so after searching 6 different types of loops the memory got full. You need a loooooot of patience to do this.
@xxxpidgetsxxx Both are the same. Music 2000 was renamed to MTV Music Generator in United States and Canada. The only difference besides the name is that you only see 8 sound channel at once instead of 10 and you cannot select the language at the start.
This song doesn't suck. It's not my style of muic but it sounds pretty good. I could tell you wrote in the notes because I do the same too. I have this system and I'm trying to download my cool songs but the sound and picture quality is poor.
@flyboyv25 if you want to put your music on here through that, all you have to do is plug your PS into a dvd recorder, record them, then use a dvd ripper. Rip your song off the dvd to your computer in video form, and upload them. it works, trust me....
yea i know how you feel it sucks hearing the songs on youtube mine sounds amazing on my 8.1 surround straight from the playstation check out my song just search AzcleDeL
i got the computer version called cakewalk version 2, its sweet, i'd have to film my screen aswell, maybe i should put up my first layed track, just a reminder, it'll be quite random
This song was really cool. Especially how it was put together. Hope to see more of your songs in the future. Sorry for not responding to your compliment on my video that you sent me for "Final Bow". Keep posting more alright!
Finally! Someone who takes MusicGenerator to another level. I love, LOVE, MG broham, and I have made many compositions; never compromising for stock options and loops. I did what you did and keep it up, cus out of all the "new dead technology" PSX MusicGenerator will be a killer in the future. keep it alive my brothere.
I agree. One year ago I started a Music Generator forum and expected about 12 members for the first entire year with maybe 150-200 songs max, most being from the early 2000s and 1000 posts, but now there's 170+ members, 666 songs and 5000+ posts and it's still regulary active, even if not as much as other gaming forums. Also I have all 5 Playstation Music Generators and I still use MTVMG1
it has better quality than lot of other vids at least.
You could get a 3.5 to 3.5 mm cable and plug it to your TV headphones jack and your PC microphone jack and use Nero, Audacity or any other recording softwares to get the song on your PC.
I made some mtv songs too btw, you can check them in my profile, altough I have much more on my two forums (altough one of them is down) they are all made using MTVMG1
Yeeeeeaaaaah!!! i like!! =D

It seems to be a cool song. Record it with Fraps and upload the video again so we can listen the song in better sound quality.
Cheers!
