im not that good in mathematics but i want to be expert in math.. i would like to ask when to put ± in an equation? also the 1/2 that you used to multiply is it standard to use 1/2 always in solving that kind of problem? if not how did you get 1/2 to use to multiply.?
When you take the square root of a real positive integer, such as n^2, the square root is ±sqrt(n), because the square of a negative number is also positive.
around 4:28 don't you have to cross multiply??? so you'll get something like -(c/a)(4a/4a)+ ab^2/4a^2????

students would probably understand how to do the math better if they learned how you get the formula like you just did.
