I agree you can overstock as long as the water quality is pristine, but fish still need swimming room! You're at about the limit that this kind of stocking is acceptable, at least with rainbowfish.

Thanks for your concerns but 50% water changes once a week with live plants can easily house such fish numbers. This system was not running on the "normal" aquarium keeper's husbandry. If you maintain the water quality you can certainly "overstock" an aquarium.

Is that singapore moss? And how did you get it to be so green. What kind of light do you have over it?

It says it is Java Moss and I would also like to know what kind of lighting is being used.
