The bullets may touch your character as long as they dont touch your hitbox, wich is a tiny red dot on the back of the caracter. When that is touched, you die. You cant see it in this video though.

@Tourdenuages Sorry if this late (it probably is). But whatever you saw on the screen you can't touch at all. This game is a danmaku shooter game also known as a bullet hell game. Essentially the girl is trying to beat you by using alot of bullets.

I think people make this game out to be harder than it really is. I completed it within two days (No Continues+Extra). As I was playing it, the whole game is just memorization of enemy patterns. And the whole "Bullet Hell" concept of it that everyone says is so hard, is easily contradicted by your small hit-box.

And the Extra Boss music that everyone says is so "God-Like", actually gives me a headache.

Touhou 6 is a great game, but people make it seem a lot more than it is.

If you completed it within 2 days, I guess there's really not much I can say against, provided that you're not lying. I guess your gaming skill is just much higher than that of ost of us.

The Extra Boss music is godlike to me and most of us. If it gives you a headache, your brain might be weird =P Maybe it has something to do with your improbable bullet hell shooter skills.

i'd say that touhou is hard because of the thing you mentioned above. Memorization of enemy patterns is not an easy task for anyone.

the fact that you did it is quite amazing to most actually.

Also you can't really memorize enemy attack patterns perfectly because the placement of their patterns can change depending on the situation. also touhou 6 does not show you the hitbox so to some people this will make the game quite difficult.

Actually, I would really recommend Reimu with Homing amulet for beginners. And you've got the meaning of Bombs and spellcards a lil messed up. A Spell Card is basically a really tough bullet pattern your foe can use, some require you to kill the enemy, some requires you to survive for a certain time limit. A Bomb is a Spell Card that -you- can use, it clears all non-boss enemies and most types of attack, and does a bit of damage to a boss, it will also make you invicible for a bit.

I'd like to mention that most parts of the fight vs flandre look easier than the stages in normal mode of SA. Well, in EotSD you don't have a visible hitbox, but it's not like you couldn't get used to that :O

Very nicely done! Never played one of the Touhou games but they look fantastic! I don't know if anybody elst thought this but between 1:29 and 2:29 the music reminded me of a game called "Bloody Roar" that I used to play many years ago on the PS1. It also makes me think of Dynasty Warriors n_n

this is actualy an extra boss in the game that is insanely hard. she has her own difficulty setting, which cannot be changed, called the Extra difficulty. you are able to fight her when you clear normal mode or higher with no continues. also, trail ver does not count.
