Also, the girl from the original THE WORLD END UMBRELLA had something similar to the WEU girl's outfit, so there was precedent. My interpretation of this song is that it's based around friendship, which the light is a metaphor for; by giving the light to others, he's giving those people the gift of friendship. I think the globe and light are used together to symbolise the world being 'warmed' by friendship. 'Going off to pick up a brand new light' could also be a metaphor for going to make new friends. There is more to it that I wanted to pick apart, but the character limit won't let me. Wonderful song, though ♥

Wonderful translation work, as always! I have a couple questions, though: You refer to the MC as Wander -- is that their official name, as given by Hachi, or did you come up with it yourself? Also, are they really... male? Because I'd assumed they were female, but God knows they're androgynous enough for it to be interpreted either way.

@TheUndeadNinja Wander is just my name for him, taken from "Wonderland" (and Shadow of the Colossus, kinda). Most of Hachi's characters are nameless, but I end up making my own names for them. (I've seen people directly ask him if there are names, and he never answers.)

Wander definitely seems male to me, especially given the... loose clothing, but I guess it's not really certain. Not like it matters, unless you imagine romantic relationships between Wander and Same-Face (again, as I call her).

-The masked people, and the lanterns reminded me of some of the Hermit Shadows from the Persona series, more specifically, 3 and 4.

-It's funny, because the whole video seems very anonymous and the only face you see is the Main Character's face, as one of the masked persons reveals to have the MC's face.
