@HIURNAMEISTOMMY I started working out a little after 8th grade then I was hardcore into weight training for 4-5 years after that. I'm just now getting back into it.
hey, not sure if you are trying to get a cross or not, but just a slight tip is watch your elbows on the pull-out portion of the cross and make sure they are locked out. Also, It will make it slightly easier for you if you get a slight false grip on the rings. They can rest right around your wrists! Good stuff though!!
i have the luxury of having a naturally fast metabolism. i am not sure how high or low my body fat is right now but the last time i checked (3-4 years ago), it was up to 15% if i remember correctly. i was around 135lbs but now i am 130-132lbs.
haha you crack me up man. That was the coolest looking laundry basket I could find. I knew it would attract people :) Blue is both calming and cool but also gives the illusion that I am balancing on water...yeah
Hey man. Staying active is a vital part of life for me too. It helps to stay focused, even when my S.A.D holds me back most of the time.
I've been training consistently an hour a day for the past year and a half. It kinda serves as proof for me that I'm not simply lazy and can and do work hard when I'm not bothered by other people. Keep it up!!!
I just got them towards the end of the olympics and I'm glad I did. they say that gymnastic-type exercise/anything with bodyweight/repetition is very good for building strength and endurance. I'm gonna add some links to the side.
Yeah, bodyweight exercises are pretty effective at building strength other vital components of fitness.
I have been training for a year or so,to which bodyweight exercises make up the majority of my workout and from what I can tell they seem to work well. :)
haha thanks, i've been trying to keep a steady workout schedule but it's kinda hard with work and stuff...but let's see where i am in a couple of weeks :)
using rings are great...we do not need all that "supplements industry" behind us.....rings even work for an amateur 45 yrs old guy like me....
great work out....
i must admit...pussies around here do "fast half way dips or even less"...going all the way down...the way it should be.....

What did your first gymnastics bodies cycle look like? I just got a hold of the book, and am trying to design my first steady cycle.

@Aldind2x To be honest, I totally forgot. It was such a long time ago since I've worked out on the rings. I wish I could be more help.

Good exercise and one I will try at home. Might have to start doing the laundry though, I think my wife will thank you!

what muscle group does this exercise work on?
Christopher711 3 years ago
this exercise works the shoulders, biceps (used for stability), some abs, and the outsides of the chest.

wow what a body... do you have to work at having such a low BF % or it is mostly natural?

fast metabolism - i hate you! :-)
looking at this video you couldn't be more than 6-7% BF.
132lbs? how tall are you? you look pretty built.
eviljuan 3 years ago
haha i just give the illusion that i have 6-7% bf. when i start to get pumped up, it shows a lot. but i am 5'6".
