when i'm flying a heli equipped with missiles, is there a way how i can lock these missiles on to a target. I already found that fighter jet-missiles lock on to targets themselves, why not heli-missiles?

They don't lock because they're not meant to. Both types of missiles require different skills -- you have to guide the TV missile onto the target via aiming + clicking.

Great video. when I try to turn sharpe when flying it takes about 7 seconds to do a full 360, like when im flying and I press the "a" key thats when it takes 7 seconds to turn, I see people flying then they do a 180 in like 1 second, what sensitivity are your settings and how to a turn really sharpe. Its a position reference. Marking the exact place over the ground that you departed from. If you keep it centered and descend with it centered, you will land right where you started. Helpful in night flight while low level hovering looking for targets. The AH-64 Apache has the same ability which if I recall was good to about 150 feet. Its been a few years so don't quote me on the 150 feet.

Been playing for 2 Days now, and having trouble not to crash my heli disencouraged me. People got mad at me for taking the heli but not being good at it hehe, gonna try it in solo game.

I still wonder how you did the loopings and other moves, but by practicing I'll probably find out meself.

The best way to learn is to fly in single player (either 'proper' single player or a lan multiplayer game) and just keep flying until you feel in control of the chopper.

Once you can fly around without crashing, that's the best time to start flying online.

IMO it's best to do this because you will get the chopper to yourself when learning and it won't frustrate other players so much. :) GL

The best jet guys are unstoppable and will take you out almost instantly (jet cannon on the chopper canopy is almost instant death).

All you can do is either put an object between you and the jet (e.g. reactor towers), or fly towards the jet (so he gets less time to shoot) while rolling the chopper to present a harder target.

Regarding mobile AA: The best way to survive is to stay away from it. Your TVs go further than their lock range. Learn the spawns and always look out for them.

Bur the best way for not getting killed by jets is that you sometimes look around you so that you can see enemy jets!

Then you might take cover or fly against the jet so that he cant really shgoot you!

But good jet pilots are going to take a heli down!
