  • you are brilliant. amazing and inspiring. thank you

  • could i have the dimensions of this? diameter and length of pipes and diameter and placement of the holes? i love the way yours sounds. please respond

  • Looks like a creepy medical device you'd never wish to be attached to, but sounds great. But hey - music is for listening, not for watching :D

  • You've inspired me. I have no scottish whatsoever in my blood but im making one of these lol

  • uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i lost my membrane

  • where i can find the measure of the bores??

  • que bueno!! el sonido es fantstico!! va usted a hacer un video sobre que puedo construirlo? P.S. excusa mi espanhol =).

  • I want to make something like this, but, I don't know where to cut the holes on the chanter.

  • Love the sound! Any information on how to make one? What type of reeds for example are being used? What scale is the chanter? What pitches are the drones?

  • @carnright it uses a membrane, not a reed. the membrane can be made from a peice of thin plastic (plastic bag or similar). If you search YouTube for 'How to make a membrane pipe' you should find some helpful videos

  • @carnright there are no reeds. membranes are used to produce the sound. like a kazoo

  • Dang !!! I wanna make one of those !!!

  • you is the man!

  • One fault with this. There ain't no bag!!

  • Awesome sound man!

  • i really like the rich buzzing sound. almost like an accordion.

  • Its a sound you dont usually see people achieving in particular with straws. I wonder how he made his reed-like things? I guess a bit like a membrane but with straws. I love this though!

  • THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

  • HAH LOVE THE IDEA FOR THE CHANTER

  • Yeah you need a bag to have the pedal note(s).

  • yeah, can't call it a bagpipe without the bag. A balloon or a large tanned cow bladder would give you enough air to take breaths between notes.

  • Nice sound! You should put a bag on it of some kind for making the sound constant. :)

  • well if you watched the rest of the video, you would notice that he already did

  • Yea, I know, bot like a classic bagpipe, this looks quite weid to me, though it is quite cool. :)

  • How do you make this can some one send me a link?

  • looks like you're fiddlin with a quiver of arrows.

  • No se que es pero esta chida esa cosa.

  • Is that an Uilleann Pipe scale of D?

  • Get a bag on that set up and you could just lay steady. Cool

  • Awesome membrane pipe demo! What kind of black valves are you using? I can't say I've seen them at local hardware stores.

  • how did you get the scale in order to make your chanter?

  • Que bueno!!!

  • saludos, no ah pensado en agregarle una bolsa al estilo de una gaita gallega?

  • Strange contraption, but it sounds pretty good. Hope you can understand english.

  • Thank you very much for your commentary. Regards

  • Iso non é unha gaita, son varias frautas.
