I was rooting for David the whole season, when i heard he was doing "Music of the NIght" i almost passed out - i knew he would do so perfectly and he did, especially the studio version.. He didn't do a rock version, he kept it very classical.

Like Randy said "If you can really sing, you can sing ANYTHING" He really was amazing!!

I will admit that when I was watching the show I got nervous when he said he was going to sing this song, but he pulled it off so perfectly and brilliantly. David Cook will win. Archeleta is too raw and one dimensional. Cooks rich voice and versality is absolutely scintillating. Archeleta peaked at "imagine", but cook peaks every week! Archeleta attracts teenie boppers, but this guy attracts the entire adult world.
