ur really good at making Sora shoes!im going to my first convention and i kinda wanna be Sora he's adorable XD anyways so i need alot of help for stuff since the outfit is expensive enough to buy.oh yeah by the way.how on earth did u make such a good keyblade?is there a video for that?
wow very helpful im gonna use this idea for the kh1 sora costume... theres a cosplay contest at school so i tuned into this vid do chk it out very helpful seriously!!
@Dinker27 hmmm, good point. Yeah my shoes did get kinda wet at the bottom when I walked on the grass one day after it had rained like two days before. So lets see,.... you know the foam on flip flops? Just buy bigger ones like they use in child dare care and cut the shape of the shoe out of it. That way, you can walk on grass and stuff. As far as like making the frame work, you can possibly use wiring like coat hanger wire and stuff.
@1KittyX3 Started digging around, and found out that kind of foam is +$20, which kinda makes no sense and you may as well buy clown shoes for spending that much.
What if one were to take, say, maybe 2-4 pieces of cardboard shaped in the shoe's form taking support into account, glue them together, then apply varnish/waterproof stuffs to it? Varnish is about, like..at most $4. o.o"
@1KittyX3 I'm trying it out; used three sheets of cardboard per foot and water-guard. I found out that if you glue the sheets first, then the water-guard eats away at the spray adhesive. So it's best to water-guard all the pieces separately first, then glue them all together.
I found that having the glue stay onto my canvas shoes after spraying the sole and the top cardboard pieces was a bit more difficult. Maybe putting the foam around it will make it more secure, though. t.t
omg so cool after seeing your video I might make a second pair so I can make the shoes look just as big as Sora's shoes well I'll see just cuz I'm clumsy I'm afraid I'll fall everywhere oh and I had a small idea for the empty space between the front of the shoe I would fill it with spray foam it's in a spray can and you can get it at any hard wear store I really really love them you did an awesome job have fun 0_o
@cosplaydreams I never thought of the spray foam! :D That could work! Yeah, its a little weird to walk in but Sora walks funny period!! XD And thanks, I'm so so glad you like them! I cannot wait to get my costume in.

That's absoulely beautiful and so simplistic! But I have a problem...have your shoes gotten wet? 'Cos as we know, cardboard+water=ick....
What would be a decent alternative? I'd like to clean my shoes so I don't get that body funk.
