Wow, vintage 737-200 from Air Philippines. loud plane but smoother than Airbuses. Especially those Airbus A320s. I'm wishing that I could fly in PALs 747-400 noon flight soon.
That 737 is on her final days. She is now replaced by Airbus A320-214. And the 737 sold to Asian College of Aeronautics for Pilot, Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics Students.
@Magicpianoteacher oh? taga airport ka? i mean, sa airport ka naga work or what? hehehe, naa kay facebook? hehehe, if you don't mind...actually, gikan napud ko gnina sa may runway eh, wd a friend...hehehe
actually the real thing is reverse bucket deployed para kasi syang container kapag nagrereverse thrust ang JT8D engine if you notice tinakpan nya ang butas ng Exhaust area
@Magicpianoteacher yes, instead of yung direction ng wind from the exhaust is going backwards, the direction now will be going forwards making the aircraft slow more pwera sa Autobrakes na sineset ng Pilot prior to touchdown
That was an excellent . I've made hundreds of landings in this type an this one appeared very smooth and normal. Wobbly it was not..Try landing in the Canadian Rocky Mountains in blowing snow and then discuss the landings.
ok lng man ang air phil. paspas ang plane nila kay ang engines nila kay turbojet. mas paspas kaysa cebu pacific. kay ang cebu pacific turbofan man ilahang engines. ok man ang air phil. interiors lang sa airplane ang medyo may katandaan na.
nakasakay ako nun...medyo may katandaan kase yung fuselage nila masikip...5 seats in a row lng...sa airbus 320 at 319 nila ngayon eh 6 seats in a row na..

actually the real thing is reverse bucket deployed para kasi syang container kapag nagrereverse thrust ang JT8D engine if you notice tinakpan nya ang butas ng Exhaust area
francis2383 2 years ago
