nobody captures the spirit, the majesty, the atmosphere and the tradition of the greatest game on ice better than Hockey Night in Canada! Since the invention of television and the first HNIC broadcast way back in 1952, the CBC has always done it well! Two things, what music is used in the opening montage for Halloween? I love the way the music interacts with the great footage from days gone by and days to come! And second, can we please bring Molson back as the title sponosr of HNIC? I miss it!

@2players2sides The new theme is named "Canadian Gold". I'm sure you'll recall the saga when the contract on the previous theme expired. At that point, CBC held a contest to "write your own theme". Canadian Gold, written by a high school music teacher named Colin Oberest, was named the winner.
