  • I want to go there. It looks great :)

  • dude, you need a girlfriend.

  • The roommate and I enjoyed this insprirational video together.

He is certain you are English and not Dutch; incorrect but a compliment to your excellent language skills.

I hang my head in shame I can only speak one language.

  • Very nice video. You travelled quite a lot to go to the beach. You could have pick something nearby Groningen. On the other hand Zandvoort is beautiful.

  • Thnx! Zandvoort is beautiful, and travelling by train is also very inspiring for me, that was why I got on it in the first place. So it was cool :-)

  • "Do a little talking into a camera like every decent lunatic" I love it too :D

I really like your quest for inspiration!

    <3

  • You made me smile again. Oh, how very inspiring. I totally get you with "in that little room..." thing, but like I'm not brave enough. =/ Sadly, but still am I young. :d I totally fav this. Ps. I got some picture for you, it's like some kind of board with big red letters "J & B" on it. xD

  • Oh cool send it to me :-)

  • Sweet....beautiful...inspirational!!!! :)

  • Ahh heavnly good shots of the beach!

    Talented in taking good angles.

  • Thnx man :-)

  • Ah, that seems like a fantastic walk. I would have blistered feet as well - wasn't it hard to walk through the soft sand? But yay for inspiration and definitely yay for being a decent lunatic :D:D

  • Yea that's why I took the bike path through the dunes most of the time ;-).

  • That's the beach in The Netherlands, right? It's looks waaay better than the Belgian beach ;-)

  • Does it? Never been on your beaches :-)

  • lol for the lunatic quote :D

there seemed to be a lot of wind!

but the sun was shining, so... it must have been a great day to walk :D

how did you know that? about the alien thing I mean... It's not supposed to be known by the public. It's still a secret.

are that rocks on the beach?

or just footprints... I really enjoyed the intro and the outro of your quest :D

  • There was hardly any wind, but it just makes a lot noise in my cam. Those 'rocks' are some kind of greasy foam that the sea left behind. Thnx for the compliment :-)

  • oh yeah! I know that foam... I saw it before... it seemed so weird, all those rocks, but it's foam! that makes sense :p

    no wind? strange :D

  • Thank you for sharing your journey with us. For being a lunatic for us. I really like the music that has grown from your quest (so far).

    -Debbie :)

  • Your walk reminds me of walks I have taken on the beaches of Cape Cod, Massachusetts (US), which I hope to do again. (I live near a seashore, but not that beautiul one)

  • Like every decent lunatic xD :D

  • Yes, that's what we are :-)

  • WOW! The music and scenery is really beautiful!

  • Thanks :-) (For the music. The scenery isn't courtesy of me :P)

  • unexpected. delicious. inspiring. Hmmm. maybe I should take a walk somewhere. maybe I'll run into you.

  • This sounds amazing, I have always wanted to try something along these lines. I hope you find whatever it is your looking for.

But, if you don't, at least its a beautiful day.

  • What a beautiful video. Makes me so wish I lived closer to the coast ...

  • wow 20 kilometers o_o

but the landscape looked really lovely

  • awesome! glad you found what you were looking for. Of course, it's making me want more to move to Europe... Nice vid!

  • Don't they have nice beaches there then?

  • Well, see, I live in Orlando, where the beaches are visited by so many people that not only can you not find solitude like you did, you can't find soft sand because it's all packed down and you can't escape the hotels and condominiums! And the plants don't look as cool as yours do, either.

  • Well I had to travel 200 km by train to get there in the first place, so maybe you can find something within a 200 km radius? ;-)

  • man if you ware poet you could wright an awsome poem to this. maby we will get an andy mc knee like, relaxing guitar song from this. (i like song better than poems any way)

  • I put it all in (the music of) this vid. But who knows more will spring from this experience. :-)

  • The wind was unfortunate.

Seemed like just a lovely walk. Very lovely video. :) I don't have the stamina to walk that far... unfortunately.

  • Yup wind and mics are no good combination. Hope the subs helped ;-)

  • Goed!

  • Well, did you find the inspiration? :)

That looked really fun. I think I might take a looooong walk like this along the beach this summer.

  • I can recommend it!

  • What are the names of the towns?

Does the trail have a name?

I want to Gogle Earth these.

  • he walked from zandvoord to noordwijk

  • heul mooi jan! :)

  • Wow, this video was really good, I liked it a lot ^^,

  • Thnx!

  • That looked like such a lovely time. You make me want to get up and walk really really far.

  • It's too late for that tonight. :P
