when ever i palm mute standing i can do it but my hand gets tired. but standing and playing i can play fast but my picking hand doesnt get tired but when i mute standing my picking hand gets alot tireder faster when im standing then sitting. help?

I've been playing guitar for a few months now, and I have not been able to get palm muting down. I keep getting the thud sound mentioned in the vid. A few people told me that it was just the guitar. your what really distinguished this tutorial was the angles, it took a few other tutorials for me to realize I was putting my palm on the strings and not the bridge, sounds a lot better now

There is something wrong here. The guy knows how to play, no doubt, but RESTING YOUR HAND ON THE BRIDGE?! There are three resons for not doing it.

First: It will be harder to learn more advanced techniqes.

Secund: When you play live, yoy swet and a lot from the hands. Swet corrodes the metal of the bridge and you wont never notice but you will have to change the bridge after a while.

Third: If you use a guitar with floyd rose, you will be whaming without wanting to, and the note will be lost.
