Somebody said that Willy DeVille has no talent. Well as a person who listens and knows a lot about pop/rock/blues music, I can say that Willy is actually very talented songwriter and has a very personal voice. And many famous musicians know this too. Someone may not like the tone of his voice, but that doesn't make him untalented or a bad singer.

The man was not pretty, the man was not vocally gifted. The man was gifted with heart and soul. That made him beautiful. From a 3 piece combo to full orchestra, Willy had you in the plam of his hand. Ms Paradis had only to sing and sway, mmm. Jon BonVovi would attest to the man' s ablities. I only wish that I had known him before his passing.
