i think claymore is better cuz if your using stalker pro, explosions are delayed so the betty would be even worse because i tested it and the clay still blew up with stalker pro and the betty took FOREVER+ all the things u tested, i think the claymore is better

The problem in this is yes the Claymore has a larger rang radius than the betty but as you see if it blows up at it's furthest it still isn't going to kill you.

if you put a claymore down and someone is near by it triggers and goes off but if you throw a bouncing betty at someone who is say planting a bomb it doesn't trigger? there both pretty poor if you can run fast enough.

Bouncing betty's: every player knows how to survive them, you go to prone when you hear/see it

Claymore: if you have marathon (i am calling it marathon because i forgot the actual name) you can run right through it but if you have blast shield you should be fine as well

I would rather use a claymore than a betty.I use semtex on all my classes but the only game mode I don't use semtex in is FFA and IMO a claymore is better for FFA than a betty.

I love the betties its awsome when you have to use thermal scope cause ill camp if I have thermal or shotgun so throw a betty just for extra protection I used it with the mp5 and I got more kills with the bettie in five rounds then i did with the mp5 with thermal

C4 is awesome. It works in all situations.

- One on One close range gunfight.

- Camping

- Killing enemies camping by flags or bombs.

- Surprise kill an enemy creeping up behind you.

Anothere difference is that the better takes about 2-3 seconde after it touched the ground for someone to activate it but the claymore blows up right after its set down.

One thing that I think should be considered is the visibility.

The models are pretty much the same size, one horizontal and the other vertical.

The Bouncing Betty has a big light which pulses, so it's easy to notice since you see something flashing like "Hey, I'm here". At 0:33 you can see that even under the sunlight, you can easily see the red flash.

The Claymore has two big lasers, but they are static, so it's harder to notice.

In my opinion, the Claymore wins :S

i usually prefer bouncing betty, though i did mess around with the claymore for a while...both i find are effective, except if youll notice while the bouncing bettys range is less, if someone doesnt immediately duck or maybe have blastshield, they are dead. the end. but at max range of a claymore if you back off maybe a red screen, also it helps that most people go into buildings slowly and check all the corners for campers, so they usually dont race past my bouncy betty/claymore

Even though they're both good, Claymore wins imo because while it's slower to use while your rushing, you can still do it while a betty won't kill you, just distract you for 2-3 seconds.
