Offense is good, but Defense wins championships. You need to stress defense and rebounding in order to win. Putting points on the board is important too, but getting stops in clutch situations are always key.

This was a tough year for me as a Rockets fan #1 Because the #8 Knicks and Spurs played in Finals. Hated both teams

Wanted Spurs to win but of course hated them. Wanted Knicks to win but had Knicks won then the 1995 #6 Rockets would have been forgotten and replaced by the #8 Knicks are lowest seed to win the NBA title.

At the end the Spurs won which I hated but was glad the #8 didn't win

With all due respect, Willis Reed was "MR. KNICK!" I've never forgiven Ewing for Game 7 against Indiana in '95 when he had a clear path to the basket, and, instead of slamming it home, Ewing goes for a ridiculous finger roll AND MISSES!

Ewing leaving the bench at the end of Game 5 against Miami in '97 also disappointed me for his lack of discipline.

Reed, Frazier, DeBusschere, Bradley, and Earl the Pearl were the REAL MR. KNICKS!
