  • Hey man im having a problem with mine..When i push the kick starter down it won't go back by itself, I need to push it back up. I installed it the same way you did in this video. Do you have an idea as to what the problem might be?

  • @thevalentine805 Your kick starter spring may be broken or worn out.

  • Great Vid, Thumbs up! Ive been using these to reference my 86 RZ350 rebuild. I was planning removing the whole kickstart assembly including the inner gear to the left of the clutch so I would reduce weight and have a push start bike. Only thing is I would have to cover the hole one the case. What are your thought on this? Thanks

  • @ironDsteele Buy a lightweight billet kick start level instead. You may not always be able to push start the bike especially if its cold. Keep the extra parts if you do remove them so if you dont like it you can reinstall it.

  • @jlsparky7 Seen, Thankyou!

  • great vids, very helpfull.

  • @rico46davis :) Thanks!

  • great vid

  • @1991tommygun Thanks!

  • I am leaking fluid around my clutch cover, and around my water pump cover. when its idling i hear an unpleasent grumble. Any idea what i did, or how to fix it? i am a new banshee owner and an not experienced in working on them. Any help will be greatly aprreciated!

  • @Kinkryder8 Is the fluid coolant or transmission oil? Sounds like your water pump may have taken a dump. Get a billet one when you replace it. Its well worth the money.

  • @jlsparky7, i belive it is coolant. the majority of it leaked out around the water pump itself and the coolant hose above it, and i dont think its my royal purple. I was running it in very cold weather, could that have seized and broken my water pump?

  • @Kinkryder8 I dont think it has much to do with the weather. The water pumps on banshees are known for going bad. Just pick up a water pump and a clutch side gasket kit and tear it apart. Easy stuff to do. Check that hose for leaks as well.

  • @jlsparky7. sounds good man, thanks for the help!
