I mean, Mr. Helm lost his abilty to even speak when he got throat cancer, but against all doctors orders: He sings again!!!! I don't know what happend, but God: Thank you!!!! Love Levons 'Yes!' at the end of this. He knows he's nailed it, he knows the band have nailed it, he knows the audience loved it. I do hope he knows just how much his music and attitude are loved. He always strikes me as being a little to humble to realise his awsomeness. Sort of 'what?, folk around the world think I'm brilliant?, oh thats nice, can we play another song now please.' I never tire of Levon and his music. He is the "MAN!" indeed.

Billy wants to be a musician, but unfortunately hasn't paid his "dues". And I'm sure he never will because he doesn't realize his slack . Levon is a musicians musician...and certainly a "star" in his own right...but more importantly for "me" he's what all of us "sidemen" aspire to be as well. A musician for musics sake. His love for music just radiates out of him! He's the "MAN"!
