Horse meat is filled with all kinds of drugs. Our USDA didnt care because its sold to foreigners. Drugs such as Wormers, brute, steriods and many more. Its sad our government allowed this and now finally I see the EU has realize this and has now placed a 180 day quarinteen before slaughter.

Fresh raw meat carries very little germs. As long as there is little fat and the people who handle them are hygienic, then it's all good. Not really flavorful mind you...

a lot of people in France eat it. I could never eat raw meat. don't know how people do it without worries. yeah if you're not lucky, germs can be on there.
