I thank God that they never went with a Dawson/Joey scenario here. Lucas was reluctantly supportive of his bff's choices unlike Dawson who nearly killed the show for me with his creepy possessiveness of Joey. I was always so happy that Lucas and Haley were platonic. They were really one of the best friendships between a guy and a girl on tv.

I agree. It's good to see a boy and girl friendship that does not go beyond friendship. Haley and Lucas were like brother and sister. It was one the greatest male/female friendships on the tube.

i love how she said that her and nathan will never happen but they ended up married and with jamie and there second child hahaha i love how nathan and peyton were popular and togather and then came up haley and lucas haha (haley and nathan get married with there son jamie and there second child and lucas marrys peyton with swayer )so cute how that happened

i love how no one had heard of haley and lucas before season 1 and then they mingled and ended up splitting up the most popular couple and keeping them for themselves :D

@BOHAA001 well nathan knew of lucas considering they were half brothers but i love how haley is willing to risk her friendship with lucas because of her love for nathan they r the best couple ever nathan deep down was good it just took haley to bring it out of him
