I hope they know that sheep are VERY fragile animals and do get hurt easily. I have had them in the past. My sister tried riding mine when I was a child and he fell over onto his back and couldn';t get up...clearly this sheep was having a difficult time too. Sheep may look like they can carry someone but under all the fluff there is a small animal.

You turn it around. You use those bit so you don't have to train your horse properly. And champs? I know champ horses owned by the most horrible owners.

She works nicely in a pelham and really elevates her paces and collects up rather than bolting off

A pelham can be less harsh than a snaffle in the correct hands so shut it you american no nothing

And if your horse is a ´ fecking psycho´ you and your riding instructor should search for the reason WHY he behaves like that instead of using a pelham. And if your horse starts elevating his paces and collects only because of the use of the pelham there is something seriously wrong. It should be able to do without even using a bit. And again, I´m not an American.
