Yes it was a surprise. I actually got his autograph that day. It is in one of my old Doctor Who Monthly magazines.

the mind robber I thought what an amazing story it was, I miss pat dreadfully he was a great actor! I remember when he died, I was 16 and it was so sudden. It sent shock waves round the dr who world I remember, but I feel he was not treated with the massive amount of respect he deserved by the media.

I doubt anyone else has it since it was recorded at a New Hampshire (USA) meet and greet sponsored by the local Public Television station. I was one of two reporters there that day and the only one with a tape recorder. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Have the bbc seen this? This could be very rare & I bet the beeb (BBC) dont have this in their Archives, this could be put on 'The Krotons' as a dvd extra.
