@brace06 I was offered 10 grand by a guy who wanted to buy one for his son, mine has 65k miles, loaded with everything, and that was a great price, but.. after all the work me and my father put into it, I could never sell it.
@The92foxbody I understand what you mean. BTW yours looks great i rmember the first foxbody i saw as a child it was an all white GT like yours. And the blue Racing Stripes and cobra r's make the car.
@brace06 Thanks man, I wanted to make it just an all around clean car, nothing fancy, but nothing that wouldn't catch someones attention. So what happened with your 66? Still in restoration process? My dad used to have a 66' fastback (black) with a 3 spd manual.. was a car with potential, but needed heavy restoration, and my dad just didn't have the time for it.
@brace06 Yea i understand, starting on a car is hard, first part is "Where the hell do we start?!" I bought mine for 4k and my dad agreed to help me restore it. Put a little over 6k into it and it's like new. Bought it in november, got started on it the next day, went to the paint/body shop in late december to fix major rust/ body imperfection and for paint then we put her all back together and installed new interior, The body shop tries to take all your money, especially to reweld for rust.
im not sure in the video the car looks great. i guess it depends on what quality your looking for and how your going to be using the car whether as a collectible or a daily driver. but if your going to look for a nice daily driver thats not heavily modded than i dont know if the price is worth it.
its a rubber type grommet between the fender and airbox, once removed it allows more CFMs of air to enter the box (and replace the paper filter with K&N) ... also advancing the timing between 8-15 degrees advanced helps with a few extra ponies as well...
Wow, back in the day 5.0 style. There was a period of time back then when every car at street night at the dragstrip was a 5.0 or a turbo Buick. In the time between 60's muscle becoming rare and valuable (mid 80's) and the rise of the LT1 F bodies and imports (mid 90's), most dragstrips owed their livelihood to 5.0's and Buicks for keeping the gates open.
@ginsunh Sadly I wasn't around for this era :( My cousin always wanted a foxbody when he was in high school but couldn't afford it at the time, now, 2 years ago in his late 20's he bought the dream car he always wanted and allowed me to take it for a spin, then I saved up every dime I had to buy one and am a proud owner of a dream car in the 90's This car is legendary, it was different then every other mustang and by far, one of the best engines to be created.
my era is full of hondas :(

i think i know what you mean about the air box. Theres a seal inside of them that reduces noise but when its taken out it loosens up some
