I would really like to know if there are as many TB fans commenting on VD sites, as there are VD fans messing around here?
Now I don't quite know how to deal with that, because I was only 'born' a true True Blood fan like 1½ month ago, I catch up on things real quick (that just besides this and when I'm slow), and I'm really annoyed, I usually can ignore infantile and stupid opinions, but I'm almost personally humiliated on behalf of the very sophisticated True Blood!
now I haven't watched vampire diaries yet but as far as I understand TB, VD, and twilight are all so different its impossible to copare them isn't it?? Although I will openly admit that at the moment I do have a preference for True Blood, (but come on Eric is smoking hot...)

and to praise True Blood I will say, it's so intens, honest and clever in portraying, conveying and almost 'being' pretty much everything, especially using classic suspense, expectation and 'just enough granted satisfation' with a twist, in a way that spotlights the painfully bliss, it is to enjoy this show, to hell and back basics in terms of thoughts, desires, emotions and the handling of them!

I just wanted to point out that True Blood is way more mature than Vampire Diaries. @nesabt I've watched two seasons of The Vampire Diaries as well. Out of curiosity. And I have to say that, even though I think True Blood is leagues ahead in quality, TVD is not as bad as most people who haven't given it a chance think. And it does resemble True Blood in some aspects, including the "classic suspense" and "use of twits" that you pointed out from True Blood. Of course, TVD being a show for teens, it won't captivate us adults as much as TB does.

Season 2 was nothing like the book. For example: in the book Sam loves Maryann and in the series she wants to kill him. Season 1 was like the book but in this season they made some scenes that didn't stood in the book, so I was really confused about that. Still, the series are amazing and the special effects to. Can't wait when season 4 comes out in Belgium

When I first saw clips from Vampire Diaries, they attracted immediate interest in me and I realized that this show might be actually good, and when i saw 3 first episodes I knew I was right and the show is awesome. There's balance between romance, action, drama. Twilight is nothing compared to VD.

Yeah, all of we, Eric's fans would love to see him, the more, the better, but I wanna see him in a relationship with Sookie, and being King would take too much of his time. In the books it took too much just being Sheriff, for my taste, I would have loved him to be in her house every night trying to get her to bed, like at the beginning with Bill.
I think he would have plenty of time to romance anyone he wanted. I guess he would still want Sookie since she is a mystery to him with faery blood. The whole premise of King would suit Eric. I would much prefer some substance to the show than just chasing Sookie. Bill was on a mission for the Queen to seduce her. The whole series was based on about 3 weeks. Talk about falling in love fast?? LOL I would watch Alex "HOT" Skarsgard do anything! But I prefer a believable plot!

when Evan Rachel Wood announced as the Vampire Queen of Louisiana last year, it was mentioned that she would have a major story arc in Season 3, its possible they will combine elements from the other novels where Alan Ball feels it is appropriate to do so.

Isn't it more likely to be Farrell than Godfrey? :-/ Godfrey was at the FoS Centre willingly, remember - Farell was the one being held prisoner. Plus, that guy looks pretty large/old to be playing Godfrey.
But whatev, this season's going to be AWESOME. Less than a day left now! <3
