  • Thank you Kai

  • awesome video

  • Thanks again Raymond:-)

  • Thanks Walter. I recently read a comment from TV cook and Georgia native Alton Brown stating that Georgia didn't grow much in the way of food crops except peanuts. Hence, I wondered whether it was much of a farming area or not.

  • I didnt know he was from here. The peanuts and onions are grown in Georgia but its farther south than my area. Thanks Chris

  • @pwalpar Apprently, he lived in California for several years and lost his Southern accent.

  • Nice video and a most beautiful day! Seems like all the BNSF traffic thru there has a pusher doesnt it!

  • Thanks Mike, the coal train from BNSF all have pushers

  • excellant production walter!

  • Thanks Richard I do appreciate it Cheers

  • Cool! When I heard the horn blow in the distance I was thinking to myself "UP AC44.." almost. Nice power!

  • Thanks Sean

  • Wow that is another great video. The only thing missing was a caboose at the end instead of an engine. Oh well a guy can dream.

  • I personally will never be convinced by anyone that cabooses were unnecessary, They will be missed

  • The low sun reflection off of the passing cars created an illusion of transparency (as if an old school drive in movie screen was playing on the other side of the tracks. Walter up to his magic tricks again.

  • Thanks Patrick your very observant

  • I love Horn Train USA:)

  • Thanks I do too LOL

  • WOW that was neat especially how you could see it through the trees

  • Thanks Mark It sounded cool too

  • This is one of the benefits of where I live Walter, you have the Prairies to the East and the mountains to the West, the mountains are still the best with the closeness of the terrain. Everything echos of the mountains and gives you many different sounds. With the prairies you have all the rolling foothills to watch the train roller coaster though. As always great video.

  • @KicktotheCurb10 PS I'd trade your weather right now for the white shit and cold up here, winter just does not want to end, with at least another week of -18 degree F weather.

  • Thanks Jon, I decline the swap LOL

  • From watching your outstanding video, I do love the country there but dont care much for cold LOL Thanks Jon your spring is coming buddy

  • that hogger sure was laying on the horn

no birds chirping here Walter its too cold yet

  • LOL These hogheads love to toot the horns LOL Thanks Wayne

  • Nice spot, looks like you are down a little from the last spot in Sandy. You could see the train coming behind the trees, great shot...Thanks

  • Thanks Earle, Sandy id A small rural community just south of Flovilla Georgia

  • Very awesome Walter.

  • Thanks Daniel, great to hear from you

  • Very nice - birds cars - I used to unload railcars in Vancouver BC Canada as a girl in the 1970's --------- used to have to jack them down when they were not spotted and climb up and brake - them - or wait and watch them come in to dock - no matter where or how they get in your blood it stays - I still watch in awe when the trains come through town - I am out in a Port about the 20 miles out of town now - where I heard the railway had stopped before it pushed all the way to almost the waterfront

  • Thank you for the nice compliment, I appreciate your support. Yes I know how it can get in your blood, as I was A railroader for many years. I am not sure by what name to call you, Walter

  • @pwalpar My name is Cindy and again nice to meet you - as I note you seem to appreciate birds - including crows (many see them as winged rats- and say do not feed wildlife) got to tell you I love watching birds too - however from the vantage point of my balcony - crows seem to be my mainstay - I watch them and feed them daily - and often film their interactions - simply amazing - I would love to hear your "take" on crows Walter, BTW your train videos are masterpieces...the sounds, the sights

  • Thanks Cindy, I do like virtually any kind oi wildlife. The Crows are probably the smartest bird out there, at least from my experiences. I been making lots of train vids lately but warm weather is coming. I have a lot of bird videos. Every year I get A lot of Hummingbirds that return here, I appreciate the compliment about my videos. Thanks for that. Walter

  • Nice rural scene for a rural chap like me (though our landscape looks a bit different here. Are there many farms in your area, Walter, or is it woodland and heathland?

  • There are A few. Not many small farmers left these days though. Most inhabitants live here and work elsewhere, thanks Chris

  • That spot looks a real nice place to chill out for a short while, sounded ever so peaceful there Walter. Nice Picture in Picture activity too :-)

  • Thanks Paul, it is quiet there if you can stand the wildlife LOL That one truck was the only vehicle pass by me Its a nice place to sit and think.
