  • can you make a video of you of how to make the beat on 1:07 please because i really want to learn how to do it

  • Sure, I will get back to you with a vid in a little while...

  • @dashingjavi Not true, if you tune it right, and upgrade cymbals is a good kit

  • ok you guys, if you're a beginner and you're considering to buy this drum set, DON'T BUY IT!, save up for a better kit, like a Pearl or something, i know it's a little more expensive and not many of have a lot of money, but if you do buy this kit, YOU WILL REGRET IT, trust a complete stranger on this one.

  • What's the difference between a standard 5 piece and a Pro 5 piece set

  • I know u got it at guitar center but did u have to wait for it to be shipped to the store or it was ready when u got there

  • They had it when I went there and I played it a couple times on verious trips to the store before I made the decision to buy it.

  • what was the price???? Where did u buy it????? did it come with everything that is shown in the video???????

  • Anyone have any tips for tuning it? i have a drumdial but it still sounds like crap, or is it just the set?

  • This was my forst kit i got in 6th grade, im now in 8th and i learned everything i needed to know on this kit, i still have it and play on it and its a great kit and all but not for an experienced drummer. Keep it up!

  • im getting this drumset for christmas how long do you think it will take me to play drums like you i usually learn things pretty quickly but i really need to know

  • @NakiaD1 i bought mine from musicians friend .com

  • Lol I got this set for $65 but the cymbals are shit lol

  • Nice Groovin!

  • how much is this set?

  • I paid about $300 dollars for this paticular set at Guitar Center. It came with a highhat and crash, I do recommend that if you get this kit you also invest in some better cymbols, I replaced the older Agazarians with Paist's and Sabian's. If you get one of these sets then don't pay over $500 for it because that is to much! Anyware between 200 to $400 max is good.

  • i got this used 125 dollers is that good

  • Used? Or new?

  • @trainmandan05 used

  • Then it's a pretty good deal. Most of the used one go for about $200 that I have seen.

  • Please please please.. for the love of music buy and USE a metronome.

  • The hi hats sound alright for a starter set. 10x better than those PDP cymbals.

  • How much did it cost?

  • This vid is like from 2005, I had just gotten this thing at this point. I have been taking lessons since 2008 now and I wish I could tell people that but I lost the account password for this thing....

  • Dude you suck!! bro

  • That snare is really high up xD

  • ooo, a lefty drummer.

  • stock heads? and stock cymbal?

  • Dont let people make u feel bad ok ur at least trying so dont give up on drums cuz people tell u to stop makeing vids and stuff just keep on doing wat ur doing and u will get better

  • I just bought the same drum set mines an SP but its a 5 piece with only 2 cymbals ( Crash and high hat ) but i don't have it yet i ordered it online.

  • @23bullseye23 Where did you order it from?

  • is the room soundproof and if so how much did it cost

  • No, it is not sound proof, I would imagine something like that would cost a bit. But I have heard of actuall people just simply taking empty egg cartons and putting them on all the walls!

  • The mistakes were clear.

  • You SUCKKK dude u have no style u suck at fills and most of all stop making vids until u can play something good!

  • OK, FOR LIKE THE 3,000,000,000th TIME, I FREAKIN KNOW I SUCK!!! Back when I made these vids I hadn't started lessons yet so I didn't no what the heck I was doing. I have been taking lessons for some time now and I have been playing for about another 3 years. I made all these drumming videos years ago and never posted them till early 2010. If I could I would post more vids of my much improved playing and my upgraded kit but I can't as youtube sucks because they won't let me into my own channel

  • nice vid but yo try some new fills.

  • im getting this with my bank money and birthday money soon! then ill get a ride symbol.

  • iam getting this kit for christmas and iam adding a birch 14 floor tom and a yamaha splash symbol

  • if i order one is it the whole thing are it comes sepeartly

  • im ordering thes for my birthday!!! they are awesome and sond great!!

  • how much was it jwing?

  • ok i have a bunch of questions for you.. lol is that the pro 5 piece or stander 5 piece?

    where did you get it?

did it come with cymbals and hi-hat cymbals?

    and how much was it?

do you recommend it to someone like me whose never played before and looking to start.

  • Good questions, This would be the standard 5 piece kit I got at Guitar Center about 3 years ago which I paid $300 for. The hi hats and the agazarian crash came with the kit, The splash, the ride, and the Sabian crash and the three other stands I bought seperately. Overall it has about $1000 put in to it. I would recommend Sound Percussion to you, Some of the latest SP kits I have seen around are those build up kits which only cost about $260. They come with factory heads but no cymbals.

  • @trainmandan05 thank you very much

  • is this the pro 5 piece or standard 5 piece

  • Standard 5 piece. .

  • dude......awsome

  • i have the same kit!! i putt pillows in my bass drumm but it doesnt sound nearly as good as yours!! how did you make it sound so good?

  • I got a new bass beater to attach to the old pedal. I used an old quilt and put it right up to the head. The batter is tuned low and the resonate is tuned high.

  • Not bad. Just need to work on your fills a little more. How do you like the kit? I need a new kit, but I dont exactly have alot of money to spend on a kit so I want something kind of cheap but good quality.

  • @SmoogleChoocher Sound percussion is good, some of there build up kits cost only about $200.00!

  • u look like u have add when u play lol lol lol lol

  • Is this the junior drum set or no?

  • it's adult sized.

  • Did you get this drum set as a whole. Or did you have to buy buy seperate parts for it?

  • I got this set whole from Guitar Center. I changed the skins to evens and got a Sabian B8 ride and a Agazarian 10'' splash. The high hats and crash came with the kit.

  • @RogueAlienHunterxx65 not bad for a beginner!

  • @RogueAlienHunterxx65

your approach to drumming made me smile! you've got it right on the inside!!

    rock on dude!!

  • this sounds like ur a beginner, cuz ur hitting the crash very lightly, and in the other vid u said ur crash and i ha are aquariun, there agazarian. so keep practicing

  • i got a pair of signed sp drumsticks from a band friends of mine and really like the feel of them.Good Solo.Enjoy your set!Brainy,Brainman Media

  • Hey,i have the same kit and i was wondering how you tune your bass drum.It sounds really good.

  • Whell first off, I had placed a blanket in the bass drum, I then tuned the batter head low and then tuned the resonate head high.

  • hey im a starter,.. and i wanna now how u can muffle your sp bass drum casue i have wat u have only its black..... do u have to like take off the front side of your bass drum to do that

  • Easy! Just remove the resonate head on the front by unscrewing the tuning rods, slip a blanket, muffling pad, pillow, or whatever else you have that provides muffling and put it up against the batter head. After you found the muffling you like put the resonate head back on, put the tuning rods back on, and then just tune it to how you like it. Dan

  • good job man, hey i was thinking about buying this set. in your opinion is it a good buy for$300

  • It is a great kit to start off with. If you get the tuning right it sounds great!

  • @RogueAlienHunterxx65 Did it come as a set like this and how much was it?

  • do you have stock heads on yours?

  • keep it up. just lower the toms to where they are about half an inch above the bass. lower the snare to kinda mach the floor tom or lower, lower the hi hat stand so the hi- hats are about 2 or 3 inches from the snare, and lower the throne so your legs are kind of parllel to the floor.

  • Thank you, My drum set is fine, everything is in a good tune, I like my high hats like that because it's easier for me to reach them, My camera's microphone is kind of screwy and makes everything sound wierd.
