  • Question, is that a real sword?

  • That is a wooden NinjaTo. It is the most common name for the reputed sword that the Japanese ninja would have carried. It was a shortsword, these swords came in a variety of shapes and sizes. Typically were much shorter than the traditional daitō katana used by the samurai of feudal Japan.

  • each of the signs u made around 1:55 u choose randomly from ninjutsu straight to tai chi

  • Hi my bro. You are really cool!

  • Nice training spot! nice to see you still going;)

  • excellent video, very nice techniques...nothing better than training outdoors*****

  • Yes the world is your dojo.

  • very good, and there will be more too.

  • you know, im not really a weapon type, im a hand to hand type and more of a runaway type when in great danger. but the last last resort is the gun.

  • What about ranged tactics? I see thanks for watching friend.

  • well done Mr mystic. I was taught how to hold the sword in another way buy my ninjutsu instructors if you are interested I shall make a video of it, its give you a great range of movement.

    Paul Lugg

  • yeah I always want to know how the ninja do it. Do you mean reverse grip with the blade extending down the forearm?

  • No I mean holding the sword the way i was shown by my ninja teacher mr Barrington who Was taught by Hatsumi himself. Its the real thing, It gives you better control over the sword and increases the length of your sword reach by about a inch. A inch can make all the differance between hitting and missing ShinobiMystic.

  • I think I know what you mean but I do not know how to do it very well. I have seen those kinds of things in books and some video's but yet to understand the proper body dynamics. I would love to see thank you for your support friend.

  • Have you heard about push cutting and pull cutting?

  • Nicely done. The location you picked for the sword section was perfect. Couldn't have found a better spot. Half the fun in watching is to see what exotic local you pick next. lol

I really want to do some more videos out in nature, other then my yard. lol

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Yeah nature is great. We live on such a wonderful planet. I like the shugendo warrior training in the wild.

Well keep it real. Thanks for watching.

  • Shugendo baby! oh yeah!

  • nice work mike. the sword was real good with alot of one handed two handed and many varietys of block and counter cuts. good stuff. the first view with the water in the background was real cool. i like to train on uneven surfaces with rock and stuff and even slight incline like you were on makes a big difference attacking uphill or vise versa. 5 stars mt ninja brother

  • Nice I was thinking of your mountain strength when doing this. Thanks for watching bro, I am trying new stuff out all the time. This was a great way to work with a varied amount of tools. There is more to come.

    Peace.

  • Great video, I love your tonfa videos. How about some Kali Stick training videos.

  • Ok buddy Kali stick training I got ya.

  • The Kuji Kiri you're performing basically states:

To obtain perfection you must have a solid foundation like a mountain, direction in one's life, knowing the way, freedom from malice, to balance the yin and the yang or the path to heaven or hell. The only way to achieve this peace is through mediation or prayer.

  • Yes, I love how it became sunny after I did that. Balcane was achieved. This was a great day training for me. Thanks for watching I am seeing such an improvement in my training.

  • Very practical and effective Mountain training mybrother. Your uniform was styling and your sword and tonfa drills were cool to watch. I liked the tunes as well!

  • Thanks this was great, you inspired me with your training with weapons. Thanks I just learned this Dance Ejay Program. More to come.

  • Sounds like a great program. Awesome job SHINOBI MYSTIC!
