@DrDrolomehet wrong. this along with some other DT songs, John Petrucci used a ernie ball silhouette bass with guitar strings on it. of course he plays guitar in the band.... he now has a baritone signature guitar to play this song, but back then it was indeed a bass guitar

@chrisbDTM Well, I guess that does make sense. Playing this low (unless its with a 7 string) would mess up the action on your guitar, so getting fatter strings and popping them on a bass would work better. hmm, interesting.
