  • Rude boy ska.

  • a que tiempos cuando la buena musica estaba a todo lo que da.

  • buen video

  • they do a little lick that the specials must've borrowed in their song "Gangster" . . . or did the skatalites borrow from the specials????

  • the specials lifted it from here,

and interestingly, the song 'gangsters' was originally called 'don't call me scarface'

  • @jimmyjimmyjimjim2293 ,gansters was a spin off,of prince busters al capone,done by the specials,listen to prince buster as he spells the chune,my name is C A P O N E,CAPONE AL CAPONE,not scarface,capone,

  • @colemontelongo VERY FUNNY.prince buster was singing these cuts while the likes of madness & the specials were still in their dads willys.

  • is that the old McCook, years and years younger???

  • Gracias por subir el video,

  • Rico Rodrigues on this one?

  • Real music!

notice how it sounds so much better them usin real upright piano, not a midi keybored

  • And an upright bass

  • la mejor version que he escuchado de esta canciòn

  • Could be 84 then couldn't it...

Why is that chap doing press ups ?

Saw the skatalites at the Meanfiddler Harlesden many moons ago. Roland was still with us then... What a night.

    Check out my short film

'The Beat recorded live at southsea pier'

    for some more great memories

    Thanks and happy new year

  • @Thecityslicker Wow man , I can't believe you brought that up .. swear I was at that show !!! '96 or '97 I think it was... right? Legendary show...

They also had Tommy McCook then and Lloyd Brevett - both passed away now..

  • @yourmanwatson

Oh man... Lloyd Brevett on that big old double bass of his...

Now my mind is a bit cloudy after all these years but I thought that Roland Alphonso was at the Mean Fiddler that night, but thinking about it now it could have been Tommy McCook... I believe that they both passed in 98. If it was Tommy it means I got to see the great man and didn't even realise it at the time.... Anyone else remember theline up that night back in the mid 90's in Harlesden ?

  • Now that you mention it - I do remember them introducing Roland Alphonso actually... but I also have a distinct memory of Tommy McCook being there - his face is very recognizable to me.. but then it was a long time ago..

  • whatvyear was this?

  • It says "reggae sunsplash 84 " in the description. :)

  • el man de las flexiones es el killa

  • lo mejor que alla oido

    en mi vida

  • Oh man! Prince Buster for life!

  • lo mejor
