yea dude it's better than nothing but but good shit. Organic veggies come in cans too. Dinty Moore is dog food. "Libby" sausage I wouldn't feed to my dogs. BUY smart. Go to health food stores and get 2nd's, dented cans, torn labels.
I would say find a farmer who does canning and buy from him. Fresh canned is better-if things really go to shit, you are going to need all the nutrients you can get. Items canned with heavy, toxic perservatives and in aluminum (also, the toxic inside coating of the can) is going to will play hell on your immune system. And, a healthy immune system will keep you alive. Buy old fashioned canned items in glass ball jars cured with vinegar, salt, sugar and more natural ingredients.
@chena3 Rice is a lousy survival food, you might as well have a cotton candy machine. For non-meat items, it is best to have items stored that you can propogate (seed producing, tubors, bulbs). Each "eye" on a potato can become a new potato plant. You can plant an onion which will grow and produce a seed head, same with garlic but each clove in the bulb can to this. Rice is a terminal commodoty, you can not grow rice from what you buy in a sack. Now if you buy rice seed for storage ... .
@Robbob9933 That was the whole peasant diet... dog, fruits, veggies... The ones we took always had rice and syrup as their main purpose was to observe and set up an ambush...

It's good that you are trying to stock up on supplies, but the best advice that I can give you is to Store what You eat, Eat what you store. In a stressful situation is not when you want to have to learn to like something that you had put away for the "rainy day".
@RonPaulIsiah i would like a update on david taylors status! and yes you right trying is better than being foodless. i have family i have been trying to wake up and have done nothing. i guess the elites control are more powerful than we know! GODSPEED THE REPUBLIC!
I have had a food storage for over 4 years now and I know what you mean when you say vienna sausage is nasty. I did the same thing, bought it thinking that I would eat it if hungry enough. The only problem is that the expiration came up fast, forcing me to eat it. I diffently learned from that mistake. Keep it up!
How many days of food is that? How much water do you have? get just add water pancake mix, cornbread mix, you need bread. remember 1 gal of water per person per day... how are you going to cook it if the electricity and gas are shut off....
@politicalratfinder im not sure how much food is in that cabinet. but im sure its well over 3month of food just for me. and if you check out my other video, i do have some wheat. water will be the biggest thing. my next project is to buy 2 55 gallon water drum and buy 5 gallon water bottles as frequent as possible. i can cook it by using fuel canisters or with wood. but if it comes to it, most of the food is edible with out cooking. and the thing is im not even close to my goals of prep.
Nice Work, keep going, you are on the right path for sure, perhaps focus on some big bottles of water next, buy the sale items. I look forward to your future videos.
Dude..you got the proteins and carbs reeeeally covered..you need some canned spinach (most bang for the buck for ANY vegatable in a can) broccoli for fresh/frozen.
the SODIUM should be the largest concern when dealing with canned goods..
but great video and thanks for posting your prep cabinet..
@80spodcastchannel for sure brother. i need some critics so haha. yeah me and my buddy started to can and we did some carrots. im ganna post the video in the future and upcoming survival campings too :) but deff im going to be buying some veggies. my next project is to store water(b/c i live in the desert) and buy veggies.
@80spodcastchannel I think pumpkin beats spinach. Way less sodium, 6x the vitamin A, 2x the fiber, plus a little calcium. Spinach has a little more Vit. C and protein but I'd have to hold my nose to eat it.

And GROW. Grow a lot.

@Robbob9933 I don't know about your comment on rice... The VC use to survive for weeks on nothing but rice, syrup and water...
lonedove1981 5 months ago
@lonedove1981 They ate rats, snakes, monkeys, dogs, fish, fruits, and the list goes on. Captured VC would turn in their cell for food.

@katzcradul good to know, and you can add spinach to ANY dish as a thickener.
pumpkin being a gourd, is easily made into soups or bread or as a additional to most recipes. good knowledge...
