it's actually quite clever, it does away with having to carry around a cable. But for at-home uploading, i'd suggest using a female to male usb connector.
try newegg they sell for $199.00 plus shipping. it's better then CM1 it's replacing. it has interchangeable-rechargeable battery. take the battery out when not in use for long time period to avoid battery leakeage... good luck
if i purchase this in Japan, will an english menu option be available or will i have to purchase it outside japan to get that option? I know if I purchase it outside japan both english and japanese menus are available but japan has taken out the english option on most cameras if purchased inside japan. please reply directly to my comment if you know the answer.
