@TheCaravansary Actually goal difference won't matter if Aus win vs Saudis. It's easier for Thailand to qualify than you said. Currently it is: Team-points-(goal difference) Au 12-(+6) SA 6-(+1) Om 5-(-5) Th  4-(-2) 2 ways in: 1.Thai beat Oman, and Aus beat Saudis OR 2. Thai beat Oman by 3+ goals and Aus draw with Saudis. If points and goal difference are equal though, is there a playoff? Or do they look at goals for 1st?

I can't speak for the rest of Australia, but I think they would back me up when I say best of luck to the Thai team against Oman. Australia not only did not deserve to win vs Thailand, but we deserved to lose. Thailand is such a spirited side who actually use their own players, unlike the Arab countries. If Australia play like this in the next round of qualifying, we will be humiliated. Crowd at the game was very impressive too..
